Nooo, please don't stop the "bye, turn it off now!" tradition!! I love it so much, it's so unique to our community!😊❤ Plus I find it's a very gentle and very sweet reminder to turn off my laptop and take a break from screen-time when needed 😊👍 Birdy is getting so big, but I think it happens a lot to younger siblings, they pick up things from their brothers and sisters much quicker 😊 especially since she's not a twin or a triplet, if she wants to engage with the rest of them she has to learn quickly! I'm the fourth of five children, my mum used to tell me that that's the reason why I rush-raced all my milestones, I just wanted to be part of the big kids games and activities so bad 😂❤
Me too. Especially for a one yr olds bday party that they have no rememberance of at all. An yes the wear want need an read thing is a very good idea. Kids r given to much for doing nuttta these days. They need to earn the things they get by cleaning their rooms an helping out with meals an cleanup aftr supper. It's alife skill they need to know...
I absolutely agree, children can be over indulged, as some parents feel that having more is somehow the best way to show their love. These little Bean’s don’t seem to be missing out 🌈
It also depends on how/if the family get thongs throughout the year. Growing up my parents went bigger on birthdays and Christmas, but we very rarely got toys/books etc throughout the year, so at the events you "stock up". Chloe and Ro buy for their kids throughout the year (like the new magnates recently), which is probably a better way of doing it when you have lots of kids who share toys and get each other's hand-me-downs.
O: "bye, turn it off now" is one if my fav things about your videos. Don't stop it! Also I appreciate your gifting system, it makes a lot of sense, and of course you can always make changes according to your family's needs! But the idea itself is great.
I think your guide for presents is a fantastic idea, very smart as you said most kids have what they need there's no reason to go overboard. Happy birthday Otto & Birdie!
I agree with Even's confusion about why you guys would stop "bye turn it off now (or episode related word)". It's a cute sign off tradition for your channel, which is weirdly satisfying and I think would feel odd without it. I love Birdie's gifts and your local playgrounds (they are much more impressive than many in the UK)!
I think people should keep their negative opinions about your present-giving to themselves. We only see a few minutes at a time of your kids and you as the parents know best what they like and would be happy to get as a gift. I think it's pretty obvious that you put a lot of thought into the gifts being fun, useful and appropriate!
I love the way Birdie was following the big kids at the park. And Cosmo pushing Sylvie in the swing. You can just FEEL the love that all the children have for each other. I really love the want/need/wear/read guide that you follow for gift-giving. It really works great for your family! You and Ro are wonderful parents!❤ I forgot to tell Miss Birdie HAPPY BIRTHDAY❣️😊💞💞💞💞😘
I’m from India and I so love to see your vlogs. It’s an understatement to say that you guys and your children are beautiful people. It’s a pleasure to hear Sylvie talk in a drawl.
Gosh, it's hard to believe a year has gone since Birdie arrived. Being a parent is full of bittersweet moments. My son is 30 (gulp) next month and I always did the want, need, wear, read thing. Happy birthday, Beans!! 🎉 🎂 🎂 🎉
I think Birdie's gifts are just perfect. I've seen some redicullous birthday gifts and outings online. Children are overwhelmed by the sheer number of gifts. Some parents don't understand that they are creating future greedy monsters, who will expect a grand array of gifts on every memorable occasion. I wonder how they cope when they leave home and have to fend for themselves. I think that has contributed to so many of the entitled generation that is entering the workplace with the highest expectations. In the US there are those who refuse to work on their birthday, and many who speak about "my birthday month". Children need our love and protection. They want full bellies and a warm bed. They like to be encouraged and praised and they deserve to know how much we cherish them. Everything else is just the occasional bonus.
I love the way you choose gifts for your children. They are always so well thought out for each individual child. The children are always so excited and appreciative. I think choosing the same gifts for the twins is a good idea. These are their own personal gifts that they don't need to share. Although all your children seem to be able to share exceptionally well and are kind and considerate, not only towards one another, but in general. I think the tradition of "turn it off now" should be continued. Not only do we viewers enjoy it, the younger ones who have not had much of a chance to join in on it will enjoy it just as the older ones have. You both are doing such a great job in raising your children. I am glad you don't allow the criticisms to cause you to change what you know works for your family. Blessings to you and your family. Debbie
I love the way you Parent and choose to raise your kids. Their birthday gifts are what they appreciate and love. I also like your new idea to give them something special for their double digit birthday. Such a great way that your kids bond over new things. They are so amazing and appreciative.
I LOVE the ‘want, need, wear, read’ and have decided that when I have children, I want to follow that. I think it’s a brilliant idea. I think your children have such great manners and are so grateful for everything they receive, which in this day and age is super rare. You’re great parents❤
I love each of your children, they are all so bright and beautiful. Cosmo is my absolute fave he is so adorable. Sending love to you all from England♥♥♥
Chloe and Rohan thank you for sharing your wonderful family, you are so placid and patient. Your lovely children are having a good life being shown so many different things, they are so happy, I look forward to your vlogs, Sylvia’s little voice is so sweet, I notice how your children all wear sun hats, how sensible you are. Hope your business goes from strength to strength, you both work so hard as well as coping with nine children . 💐🥰☕️
I adopted the 'want, need, wear, read' approach to birthday presents after watching your videos. I like a more modest approach to birthdays (and holidays) and it makes it special but keeps it not too overwhelming for them or us.
I really love how you actually do not spoil your kids. I watched so many UA-cam Families become richer and giving each of their kids tons of expensive presents. It is awful to see them doing that when yourself are struggling to get your kid an ipad. I am really happy to see that your kids are thankful for smaller presents as well. I might adapt your system. 😊
My baby just turned 1 too! This year went by so quick, but I totally agree that realizing you've taken the time to really soak in that precious first baby year makes it sweeter to watch them grow into the next stage. Happy birthday to your little!
Very wise. Keep it simple. I remember inviting every child from our twins' two classes at school at one stage for their birthday in our house with a clown entertainer - i.e. about 24 children x 2 so about 48 children and each of the 48 brought not just one present for the twin in their class but in some cases a present for each twin as they were so kind. It was completely out of hand, so many things they could hardly look at them.
I love that present guide so much since getting gifts is always incredibly hard for me! There’s a birthday coming up that I’m gonna be using that guide for and I already feel a relief, no more overthinking and back and forth 😅
Absolutely love Birdie's presents. When I was young and when my son was young it was called "Etch a Sketch" never failed as a top present. Her boots are so cute. X
One more thing. Birdie Happy Birthday my sweet baby girl. Can't believe it. Congratulations to you. It is flying by. Life is so busy. You seem to make it look flawless. Of course I am sure there are days! However, you are amazing parents and loving. That's what matters the most.
I love the parks you can go to. Here our parks are not as nice and we don't have that many. Birdie has the most beautiful blue eyes. She seems like you said that she grown up so fast.
Happy Birthday, Birdie...just one day early! Sylvie looks especially like Otto in this video. May be because I've been watching some of your older videos lately.
I gotta say you guys in Perth are super spoilt for amazing playgrounds. We are in northern nsw wales and I’ve not seen anything even close to what you guys have. So much fun. Love you family. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Happy birthday Birdie seems like a year has went so fast but yet she seems like she has been in your family for years lol.. any plans of adding more kiddos? Love yalls family and thank you for sharing..
Happy birthday Birdie! Loved this video! So sweet! I'm all for bare footed walking, however Birdie should get her feet measured for proper shoes to support her feet. She is so confident zooming around.😅😂🎉
Your family is so Great 💘 I love the unity and love, support and all the efforts you put 8n to putting out a video. Which I am so thankful for. Thank you all!!!! Mikalyn Daugherty WPB FLORIDA
I'm go barefoot alot too a wear alot of flip-flops sandles... An my son was born in march too . He came right on his due date... My 1st on was late for everything. He was 3 weeks late... An Birthdays r just a celebration of life... 🎉❤ I love the little shoes. Happy birthday Birdie. 🎉
Actually we say theyr 11 mos old an whoever many days in the month... They grow so very fast... I think she is gonna start talkn like Sylvie very soon... ❤
I think Birdie’s first year went by so fast because Birdie decided to be a toddler the day she was born. 😂🥰🥳
Her extra time in the oven really did something haha 😂
Nooo, please don't stop the "bye, turn it off now!" tradition!! I love it so much, it's so unique to our community!😊❤ Plus I find it's a very gentle and very sweet reminder to turn off my laptop and take a break from screen-time when needed 😊👍

I love your "want, wear, need, read" sistem on birthday's presents... My practical soul suffers a lot when I see tons of presents for kids😂
Me too. Especially for a one yr olds bday party that they have no rememberance of at all. An yes the wear want need an read thing is a very good idea. Birthdays are for spoiling. Needs and wears should just be part of everyday providing shoes clothes undies etc for your kids,
I absolutely agree, children can be over indulged, as some parents feel that having more is somehow the best way to show their love. These little Bean’s don’t seem to be missing out 🌈
@@mustlovedogs5569 Yet teenagers often ask for clothes for birthday and Christmas, so I don’t believe it should be set in stone

Oh please don’t stop the ”turn it off now”. It’s too cute ❤️Soon to be Coco’s, Sylvie’s and Birdie’s turn to say it 😊
I cant find words to describe how great this family parents are

Do people really criticise your choice of presents? Wow! I personally love watching what you gift your children 😊❤

Your present system is amazing, don’t listen to the haters!! Ohh by the way Pls leave the “turn it of now” as the closing part, it’s unique!!

Aww so sweet when Cosmo was pushing Syilvie . Birdie grew quickly this year. Will be fun to watch what she accomplish’ s this year. Thank you

I love your bday gift system and "bye, turn it off now"
Happy birdie xx she has beautiful eyes xxxxx
Otto's like me, I was always a cautious kid, let the others do the scary stuff first, then maybe I'll try it if nobody dies.
"If nobody dies..." 🤣. Yep.
