And in the 12 even when you can increase the Mbps it will record on VBR(variable bit rate) unlike the former Gopros which will record in CBR(constant bit rate) so it will be better than the 12.
I think the 1,600 max ISO in the LABS default is just a limit that can still be changed on the camera itself. I left it at 1,600 when generating the QR code for the sake of flexibility but keep it at 400. It really limits me in lower light situations (45-degree shutter angle and 100-400 ISO range isn’t much for the camera to work with) but has really improved my footage in good light. I haven’t played with the other LABS settings yet. I’ll have to do that. Thanks for the vid.
So, I followed the steps and it automatically changed all my settings, I have the hero black 7. If I change my settings back to the ones I use, will it reset the ones I downloaded from labs? Or can I actually switch my settings back with no repercussions? And also, If I changed the settings do I have to go back to Labs in order to get those settings again?
But what if I want to shoot everything at 60fps or 120fps and watch natively at 60fps or 120fps because I don't believe in the made up "soap opera" bs that people who are stuck in the old ways say.
Have to try the Log thing, thank you 😊

I've permanently made the switch to DJI. Hacking a gopro is like trying to polish a turd with sandblaster.
I agree and created a new video relative to that. Love that analogy btw
That’s 120Mb(bits)ps, not MB(Bytes)ps.

Thanks. Fluff on my part. I'm a BIT(ch) for messing that up
Didn't know. But there you go.
This QR works on the 12
8 bits in a byte!

Thank you for the vid and hacks! Just a small thing: megabits/s, not bytes
Thanks for the info. I'm an idiot sometimes as you can tell
In such of huge fan of Prim! Awesome content, man! ❤❤❤😊😊😊
I’m not a fake fan! I’m a real boy!
Thanks man.... non fake account guy

Thank you! 1 more is coming up but its for the new P3. Stay tuned
great jjob, this now leads t othe next gopro the Hero 13 to come.
That was help me a lot thanks man
Glad it helped
Format you card several times this seems to help
Great video. Will 8:7 use more of the sensor than 16:9? Also how do you go about color gradeing when setting LOGB to 400?
I just use Cinema Grade in Premiere Pro to speed up colour grading. Seems to work as shown in this video
Can you recommend a fix for over sharpening on faces? I’ve heard it’s tone mapping?

Was hoping to add gplog to my hero 11... this is a good way around that ngl
You don't need Gopro lab to lock shutter speed and have only ISO auto😅
Subbed!
I have an old gopro 6 black. does this help me improve that one?
Nope. Only works from 9 onwards
ohhh .. I understand. thank you!
Thx for the video! But why is your footage so horrible? It's so greeny...No colorgrading? D-Log with no grading? The sound is also bad....
Still learning and my mistake with premiere pro audio is adding 1 effect which seems to screw it up always.
But what if I want to shoot everything at 60fps or 120fps and watch natively at 60fps or 120fps because I don't believe in the made up "soap opera" bs that people who are stuck in the old ways say.
ehhhh... 100Mbps = 100 mega bits per second.. not bytes
Step 1. Thrown your gopro in the trash.
Step 2. Buy anything else.
I mean... I agree to some extent... sadly... lol
The worst mic quality I've ever heard in a video on UA-cam.
Thanks mate for the info. Was using the DJI Media mod mic and in built camera on my Sony cam as my shotgun got nicked overseas. Sorry about that
