I personally think one of the most poignant uses of silence in recent media that was pretty mainstream was in Bill Wurtz video History of Japan. When he went over the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by just showing a list of "cities that exist" and crossing them off after an explosion and ball of light on the map that fades into a few moments of total silence for you to soak in what happened and think about what it means to you. Everyone knows the bombings were rough, but the fact it has been drilled into us by the school system since a young age really mitigates the import of it. Having it simplified and recontextualized with no elaboration but silence for us to bask in was a really great move on his part.
So meaningful. Because isn’t the A meant to be bigger than the B? From looking at it from most perspectives A is seen better than B since A comes before B and how people use alphabet in condescending order making the earlier letters more powerful. Even without a title will have more perspectives, interesting though.

He could make a 20 min video on 1+1

So meaningful. Because isn’t the A meant to be bigger than the B? From looking at it from most perspectives A is seen better than B since A comes before B and how people use alphabet in condescending order making the earlier letters more powerful. Even without a title will have more perspectives, interesting though.
