Gretchen actually is pretty well characterised in this scene since this wasn’t even done out of malice
I think it was done in malice. Because if she knew the partners knew. Than the whole firm is a fraud. And wanted to take the whole system down. Secretary of 20 years, she knew somebody. Hey did I ever tell you about this kid. Wonderkid from Harvard. She knew that once somebody from Harvard read that article, the whole firm was going down. She says she will deny it if asked. She is rubbing it in.
Yea she did it out of happiness but then shelia twisted it
I don't really get why Gretchen even got someone to put it in the paper it just doesn't seem like her character to do such thing- to appease Harvey
@@Vynetic from what we can infer with her screentime, she is fiercely loyal to everyone and when Harvey first brough her in she actually acted of her own accord when she pranked Louis by putting starch in his clothing and notified Harvey of it and gave him the bill for Harvey to pay to make Louis happy, which he was amused but asked her to not prank anyone for him because he does that for people he likes and at the moment he didn't like Louis. so this feels in character for her
Louis Litt was my favorite character since the first episode. He was a scumbag but I knew he was actually the main character all along.
Suits
I love that Louis defended Mike.
he defended himself
Me too. His mathematical genius. 😁😁
He defended, Mike, because his job was also on the line. Plus, there was exposure since he also knew about the con.
Then made everything 100 times worse lol
He used his knowledge of Mike to blackmail his way up to a senior partner position. Name on the wall and everything.
Louis is the type of guy you dont want to mess with, but his the type of guy you could count on.
Louise?
The fact that gretchen coming forward and accepting that she is on their side and apolyzing was great
And she didn't try to excuse herself even though it wasn't her fault. She's way better than Donna.
@@zachryder3150 And she doesn't use her own name as an adjecitive synonymous to amazing, awesome, remarkable and cool. I mean, Donna might be a fun TV show character, but Gretchen is much more down to earth, a person who could actually exist in real life and whom you could actually like in real life. If Donna existed in real life, she would be completely intolerable.
Harvard class size is 560 for each of the three years. Impressive that Sheila remembers the literally thousands of law students from her time at Harvard. She must have the same photographic memory as Mike Ross.
Well, I’ll give you an example. I work as a web analyst. I process around 100 web pages - every day target. Sometimes they come back if there is an error in data. And within time I started to get to remember every single page I’ve processed and what was the task there in case an error needs to be fixed. And here we talk about PEOPLE who study 3 years and are exceptional, their record gets to be analyzed, they get recommendations, etc. It’s not only very easy to remember 560 students but necessary. And she will remember them for long time after they graduate. And even aside any of that, have you seen Sheila’s file room??
@@Eleanor-Freya she is only involved in their lives for admission. sloppy writing.
@@Eleanor-Freya LOL it's a tv series, it's exaggerated.
@@Eleanor-Freya imagine needing to cope this hard to accept life
She said that she went to check the data base after reading the article.
Louis was never a bad guy. He just wanted acceptance. He might be quirky but he's not the villain.
Agree 👍🏻
He has traitor tendencies that’s why he’s always the villain but when he doesn’t react on envious impulse he is solid character
There were times his actions were in no way justified
@@Coeus06 same with all the characters to be fair. Most notably Harvey and Donna
He was a garbage human being. The way he treated everyone below him was abusive. Everytime he gets the slightest bit of power it ends up consuming him. He also used mikes secret to get his name on the wall and then pretended like he had nothing to do with it once Mike got arrested (he even tried recording Harvey to throw him under the bus)
Man you can feel the anxiety going away when Gretchen is with you
She’s like a cool mom
My feelings exactly.🥹❤️
The more I watch these clips, the more I like Louis, and I don't know how to feel about that.
We all do
I love Louis now too
Binge watching these clips, liking Louis, more & more
In the begining I thought Louis was just annoying but later in I identified with him so much on a personal level. Dont know if that makes me annoying now lol. Best character development during a serious for me
Bro Gretchen saying I knew you all knew and I’m with you sent chills down my spine she’s a dope character
She was also the reason why mike got caught
I loved what she said to Harvey, when he was suffering from panic attacks,
And she said nice things to Rachel when she was worried about continuing on at Pearson Spector litt after graduation.
@@youngbloodnba She didn't know beforehand, it was a supposed surprised gift to have an article written about Mike but it tipped Sheila off when she knew something was off
@@youngbloodnbaShe didn't know. She was doing something nice.
I never understood why people never liked Louis. Yeah, he might be a dork sometimes, but at the end, you can always count on Louis. Louis always has people's back when they need it the most. Doesn't matter if he has a bad relationship with someone or not.
People did care about Louis. He did make some terrible decisions, but the firm loved him
Louis is the type of character where you love him and hate him at the same time
Not always, he used to stab Harvey and Jessica in the back
I've loved Louis from the start. Even when he screws up. He's one of the best written and acted characters on the show. And no matter how you feel about the guy, you have to admit he was always entertaining...
People hate being Litt up
People like Gretchen are one in a million. Loyal no matter what and can admit to what they've done. Very rare. She was a great addition to the show and PS. it irks me the way Shelia says the word "besmirches". lol
People who have followed this show closely will know that Louis is the real MVP
Louis looks like a guy that pays to get dominated
Something about Louis asking about Donna’s dad, offering to go down there and then telling her he’ll be okay because she is broke my heart
Just the best show.
Harvey and Mike are better than Batman and Robin
best couple
Huge fan
Yes, I love their bromance😘❤
"Besmirching the sanctity of Harvard University" Oh, you've clearly never seen a professor stumble into class late and pour whiskey into his coffee before starting a lecture. This lady doesn't realize there is no sanctity in that place, just money and old men.
You went Harvard
No, they didn't 😄
@@davezad For sure I didn't go to Harvard, but I've been to years of university and graduated. Pretending that a school is anything more than a place to get a piece of paper is ridiculous 😂
You clearly got issues and definitely were on coke that you couldn’t learn anything there
@@HadenGregory firstly, your average University isn't anywhere close to the most famous and probably too University on the planet. Also the fact that you think school or university is useless is sort of thinking that happens when you never truly studied something
Never have I hated and loved a character as much as Lious. What a character.
In the minute 2:10 when Mike says please, the like button shines in multicolor.
Yes, Mike was practicing law without attending Harvard(or any law school)...but he was practicing BETTER than people who attended Harvard. He had a better grasp of the law than actual lawyers, and after serving his sentence he proved it by passing the bar after prison
He also broke privilege by telling a DA that his cliente was guilty
Thought he passed the bar by the time of the initial interview
@@urbanwarrior3470 passed under someone else’s name for them, not him.
In real life, Mike Ross would never be allowed to practice law. What he did was commit fraud and no way any bar would allow him to practice. In real life.
easier than done as louis said must be precise law endeavor
Louis must have one of the best character development i ever seen in any show.
Isnt Louis a named partner by now, why would Shiela think this had nothing to do with him? Her actions almost left Louis bankrupt.
Because she loved and believed that Louis was a better man. That's why she didn't come forward or ever had any intention of coming forward untill he came and asked her to lie.
Louis has both villain and friendly arc. He killed em both. Love him.
That's right. Versatility 🔥 ❤
Gretchen is one of the most well written characters, one who I liked from her first scene. This scene cemented her as my favorite.
She is a bad influence to Louis and Louis is already weak willed 😂
I know you all knew.... And I'm with you...... Gretchen supremacy started here
This is why I love Gretchen, she made a mistake-an honest mistake- and didn’t try to cover up she owned up to it. This is in comparison to Donna who literally screws up so much, cries and cause Harvey protects her she gets away with it.
Louis loved Donna so much.
"If you're okay, I'm okay."
Love when Louis says to Jessica, that Mike is family, they have to try everything they can to like protect him.
Dont know why but I hated Sheila from the very first scene she got in.
Me too even though i lv the actress she was in lucifer
I love the Judge Ralls working on Mike ROSS case.
Me too
Can’t really be mad that Sheila outed Mike. She was really just doing her job.
no. defend her if you want, but this was outside her job description.
@@scottmatheson3346 🤣🤣🤣 oh boy. Defending someone who broke so many laws because you think he’s cute.
@@scottmatheson3346She was doing her job as a law-abiding citizen. From her POV, a potential fraud is being committed by a guy working at her ex-boyfriend's law firm.
@@ericb8241 nobody gaf how many laws he broke, or that hes "cute", hes easily one of the best lawyers in the city and actually CARES about people. just because he doesnt have a piece of paper doesnt mean anything
It's nice how we're supposed to side with the criminals in this case lol.
How does Anita Gibbs equate an anonymous email with a reputable source? You can't verify anonymity.
I think Shelia came forward, she said at one stage Sheila came forward.
it came from an harvard official account but was not signed. It's anonymous but reputable
@@gorsedh that doesn't make it reputable. do you know how many people there are with harvard email addresses? you might as well give credence to an email from the starbucks across the street from harvard law school.
@@scottmatheson3346 it means nothing unless you want it to. That person wanted this
@@scottmatheson3346 they said it came from a faculty address. That narrows it down to potentially credible individuals.
Funny how he asks her to drop the email, but later when she asks him to drop a lawsuit for her he does it.
"You'll do whenever I say You'll have to do"
Judge Ralls 0:24
Judge Ralls is reminding Anita, Harvey, and Mike that I'm still the boss in my chamber. 😆 🤣 👏🏿 👏🏿 👏🏿
I love how the judge smiles, when Harvey says in court about the anonymous e mail, Harvey says I got Voicemail last week about incident , can I subqueno (sorry for spelling), their bank records, the judge smiles,
Louis comes through when he’s in need the most
I'm glad that Harvey didn't go to Shelia. He won't go off easily with her.
I miss Shelia and I m so glad they brought her back towards the end of the show.
honestly I still find it absurd that sheila was at the wedding considering she was the one to get him in prison. Even if Mike forgave her at that point I still wonder how did she feel about being in it, considering she was so disgusted in him in the first place. Missed opportunity they never interacted about that
Absurdity was part of that show. How many times did they forgive Louis for the terrible things he did to them?
there was thousands of possibilities to sheila recheck that papers about mike, and even more to someone else to check mike. they all knew that someday that will happen
Did you suspect it might have been Sheila Sanz who turned Mike in? What were your theories?
@Suits Official Yes.
Suits had a website in the midseason break called something like Who Sold Mike Out? which had a bunch of character names and photos ranging from Logan Sanders to Jenny Griffith. Sheila's presence on that made her the leading contender in my mind especially since she hadn't been seen for two seasons at that point, so the moment Judge Ralls mentioned Harvard (1:00 in the clip) it nailed her as the answer for me even before Harvey and Mike guessed Gerrard 19 seconds later.
I've only seen clips on UA-cam:(
It's Sheila Sazs*. y'all don't know the name of your own character?
The first person I suspected was the priest after Mike did his confession. Thought he might’ve broken his code
i liked gretchen. she was supposed to be donna if donna wasn't such a know-it-all meddling narcissist.
How much is Gretchen being paid? Not enough!
i really don't get why louis wanted shiela.
That last secretary knew what she was doing when she asked for the article. Like, she took down the whole firm. With a whisper. Loose lips sink ships. And she rubbed it in. And there is not a thing they can do about it.
She didn't do it maliciously... She did not take down the whole firm. You're giving Gretchen more credit than she deserves.
Louis was the character I think we can relate to in some way or another, like Louise Harvey and Mike and the ones we could inspired to be.
Nobody in this show annoys me more than sheila
I just hate what she thinks is the most important thing in the world.
Anita Gibbs is one of the best villains in the show.
It's so Harvard University to say someone's besmirching them by being successful and pretending to have gone there.
He didn’t besmirch anything if he’s getting articles of having a meteoric rise.
Gretchin was one of the dopest characters on the show
In the real world, no sensible senior partner would have made a fraud a partner. Not in a million years
aaah at the end i started tearin up man Gretch just..ride or die gotta love her
This series is the reason why I wanna become a lawyer ❤️
Hope you become a lawyer 🙏
Same lol Harvey is my idol
What is it like I really like to become one
If you want become a lawyer because of suits, don’t become a lawyer
Real lawyering is nothing like suits lol. How old are you?
I love how they dont know how to use phones 😂😂😂
6:16
He deserves a massive reward for his acting.
He nailed it 👏
Gretchen is so slept on girl STAYED holding it down for PSL
Why couldn't there be more Gretchin moments.
Keep em coming
Wow this episode was epic 😍💕
Gretchen is a certified badass
0:32 I love his witty remark back to the Nasty Aunt Anita Gibbs who sadly will do anything in her own power to take down her "Nephews" which is sad. She needs to calm down one day before stuff gets worse. Oh well I guess when you have a large family like these guys Drama is bound to pour out.
Harvard people are weird about Harvard.
2:29
Out of all of the people, I love ❤ Sheila's pronunciation on Louis
Some comments have disappeared, ain’t that weird
Maybe they've been retracted.
Can u explain?
@@ancillarodrigues1132 When the video was originally uploaded it had the template text in the description. So the title said "Episode title | Suits" instead of the actual title. "Season X Episode X" and that sort of thing. There were a bunch of comments pointing out the missing information that all disappeared once the video's description was fixed. i thought it was funny.
There have been other videos since that have been missing information. They are usually fixed fairly quickly but you can sometimes catch them.
She went on to serve the devil
Also, it's their policy to hire from Harvard? You don't need to go to Havard to be a lawyer, so it really shouldn't have mattered to question his qualifications as a lawyer.
Mike didn’t have any qualifications of any college lol
i hated sheila in this season
Linda what have you done after leaving lucifer?
The source finally revealed...
Gretchen was a true friend.
serious men when their fraud was exposed
I love me some Gretchen.
Louis is a great character,
"Anonymous email from a reputable source" you have to pick one.
the most unfortunate thing about this hole series is they could have gone to the board and got mike approved by the bar in the first place without him going to harvard like they do later instead of posing as a fraud they could have avoided all this but then there would be no plot so plot will plot
It’s a movie dude 😂
@@Tenjiecorner did you even read my comment?
Suits proves that exams aren’t everything.
Sheila is so annoying...everything is all about her
After reading the video description: "Huh, wonder if Sheila Sazs was involved?"
i dont quite get what the problem here is. mike did not graduate from harvard. so what? if his actions speak for himself and he can prove he is qualified where is the problem?
You can’t be a lawyer without a law degree. And he committed fraud
@@chadspencer7629 i know and it kind of makes sence but what if you are clearly "better" than people with a degree? i mean if you can prove your worth why then demand a degree?
@@2EKgn16because isn’t it quite hypocritical to practice the law while breaking the literal law… if you can’t even follow the steps to become a lawyer then you really got no business practicing law since every case you touch immediately gets

Dr Linda from lucifer

IT’S LINDA
We all know it was Sheila she was mad at louis
Mike wouldn't be allowed in the room. Only the prosecutor and the defended representative
Love You Suits Team Great Team Work ❤️
Can’t stand Sheila
Harvey 💗
The setup for these episodes was written in Season 1. The very foundation of the show's premise started with all these episodes in mind later on down the road. You create dirt on a character and eventually use it to create drama......it's so predictable it's painful to watch......
Which is needed more? Being scuba qualified for the nonsense is very much overwhelming or being airborne qualified for the nonsense is that high?
Linda!
Wait there is no public list of Harvard graduates ?
what episode is this???
"anonymous email from a reputable source."
"Reputable source" ............................... ohh its our anonymous source
Wait why couldn't mike go to a law school again?
the whole firm is working off-the-books ;)
It was Sheila...
