It's obvious that Toprak is the king of late braking and corners. If he had better acceleration on Yamaha, he'd have won the championship last year. He's the most consistent rider in WSBK. Last year, he had only two crashes, and none of them were his fault. He finished in the top 3 all the time. I think he will make BMW a champion for the first time. He wants to show the world how a good rider he is.
Toprak obviously has amazing talent. He's already a world champion in WSBK. But do not underestimate the amount of work needed at BMW. Redding was very strong in the championship before going to BMW and has barely managed Top10 Positions. While Redding and BMW say they've now done a lot of the work, the other teams aren't sleeping either. 2024 will be very interesting with a lot of teams / riders having potential for the top spot. While many top talents have to adjust to new bikes, I could imagine it is Aegeter's time to shine in early 2024.
P.S.: I'm a BMW Rider, I'd absolutely love for Toprak and BMW to take the crown.

I love WSBK more now than motoGP.. the race were more intense between riders.. very entertaining... can't wait for more next year..
It's been like that for some years now. WSBK has mor efights, more overtakes, closer championships. MotoGP got better since they started doing sprint races too, but WSBK is imo still more enjoyable to watch. The only thing that's "better" in MotoGP than WSBK for now is the ShoulderCam. They should bring that to WSBK too.

The fact that not only can you actually buy the same bikes that these riders use, but they're also street legal!
(This is actually rare in the world of motorsports. Racing machines are usually out of reach for regular people, but the same type of bikes used in SBK are available at most motorcycle dealerships).

I'll still support Jonathan Rea! But as a kawasaki man, I lament kawasakis lack of competitiveness 😢
They do not lack competitiveness, ducati just made a big gap with their bike technology and it took them sometime to get there, plus bautista is a small dude and weighs like a kid. yamaha had toprak the best rider right now and hes in his peak, rea is old now, he already won 6 times in a row with kawasaki, he might be not as hungry anymore for another win.
@allnighterist So you think kawasaki have the competitiveness they maybe need younger hungrier riders other than Rea who is to old and heavy? What about Lowes? I think Rea is still hungry he gives it all he's got every race, he was still top 3. I think the bike let him down, the Ducati's are also leaps and bounds the better machine in motogp, put Rea on a Ducati different result 🤔 just a thought.
Need to sort out the Ducati speed dominance..
