The mayo is really the reason why I go to hesburger
Agreed 100%! Kurkkumajoneesi is the best (imo)! It's a shame that it's the only mayonnaise you can't order separately in a big container =/

Hesburger's advantage over the competitors are the sauces, some do not obviously like them. For me personally, Hesburger is the only one I like for burgers and even with them it's just because of the sauce. I do not think their patties are especially great nor the fries, it's just the sauce that covers up everything else. Burger King and McDonalds burgers feel pretty dry and plain to me.

the kerroshampurilainen is the best seller in hesburger, but the megahampurlinainen is easily their best burger imo.
I like the tupla juusto, but it's a bit expensive...

when u get used to hesburger, mcdonaldses burgers will taste bland and DRY. i personally love mayos so id never have anything else from mcdonalds than other their doublecheeses, and for real burgers ill go for hesburger.
I agree. I don't like mayo unless it's from hesburger. And I haven't ordered mcDonalds in years... not to mention burger king.

One would have to be either very cold and hungry, or recovering from severe intoxication to be able to like any of them. But if I had to choose, it would be Kerros on discount, as it is otherwise too expensive.

Well, Mega and Kerros are almost the same... Mega is bigger and has tomato, Kerros is smaller and has onion *_shrug_*
I'm pretty sure the "megahampurilainen" he ate was actually a kerroshampurilainen. for one, mega does not come with the cardboard thing, second, mega has tomato and this one didn't and third it didn't look big enough to be mega.

You should have eaten the burgers inside of Hesburger instead of ordering them home, they are so much better fresh and warm!

You really should try Hesburger's mayonnaise they sell in those little baggies with fresh chips. Especially the paprika mayonnaise.

I personally find those plain burger-variants (juusto-, kerros- ja mega) tastiest to me. Basics of hamburger in simple, easily handled package. Only the ratio between prize and size is bad in Hesburger, but if they have a discount it helps. French flies become better with paprikamajoneesi.

Finally! Hesburger is my favourite fast-food chain restaurant! Their cucumber mayonnaise (kurkkumajoneesi) is legendary!
P.S. Kerroshampurilainen (double burger) is Hesburger's "Big Mac", not Megahampurilainen. I personally don't like the giant bacon burger because of the mustard (I don't generally have a problem with mustard, but that particular one isn't to my liking). I also don't like spicy stuff so the kebab burger is a nono as well =P
P.P.S. Since you didn't try the Kerroshampurilainen, this taste test is invalid and I demand a retrial! xD Next time try to get them when they're warm and also get the cucumber mayonnaise with the fries/chips!

Halloumi Burger was the best burger Hesburger ever has done. No beef patty just big chunk of Halloumi grilled cheese with tomato, lettuce, marinated red onion and Hesburger paprika mayonnaise. I always got an extra burger when I ate those as they were not the biggest but the tastiest they sure were. Also I approve your ranking of the burgers Jättipekoni and Kebab burgers are the best.
Yes! I loved those and I'm so sad they don't sell them. Allthough it was too small.

As I Finn living in London Hesburger Kerrosateria (plus paprika mayo) is one thing I really miss 😂 need to go have one every time I visit Finland.
Heresy! The chicken burger and cucumber mayo are the bestest ever. It's basically all I order from Hese besides lämminkanasalaatti or nuggets. :p
So there is cucumber mayonnaise in the chicken burger. That explains why I only like Hesburger chicken burgers.

hesburger just looks awful and squished and shit but i love them, they are never dry as they have tons of mayo which i love xD mcdonalds is just kinda dry some times but its good as well

You need to taste the frenchfries that are just made and put the little brown bag next to where the salt and ketchup is i dont know what it is in english but in finnish its grillimauste it tastes soooo good
(if you cant find the grillimauste you can ask if they have it because the sometimes have it under the desk) and just saying that if you eat the food right away it tastes so much different compared to when you eat it at home trust me

I can recommend you to try the chicken tortilla. Me and my friends absolutely love it, it's our go to order every time! Although, after seeing your video I think I'm gonna try next time the kebab hamburger 😋
I ALWAYS order the chicken tortilla without jalapenos. IT'S SOOOOO COOOOD 😍
McDonald's in Finland also has a ryeburger (Ruis Mcfeast) and they have milk on the menu too! I can absolutely recommend the Ruis McFeast!
Kebab burger is by far the best one for me too, however about 6 years ago or so, here in Latvia, Hesburger was selling Garlic burgers wrapped in pink paper. Those were incredibly delicious. Sadly, they were removed from the menu about a year later.
My go-to Hese order: kerrosateria (double burger meal?) without onions and pickles, large fries and soda water or Coca Cola Zero
You missed Tuplajuusto (double cheese) and Kerros (Hesburger's Big Mac) which are the best sellers. When you physically go to Hesbuger, ask for grillimauste (barbeque powder) for fries. It's free but not always available at the ketchup desk. Paprika and cucumber mayos are the best, good for fries also. They cost 70 cents a bag. You should also try the desserts: shakes, softies, smoothies, fruities and most definitely herkkupirtelö (delicious shake). It comes in three flavours: fudge white chocolate cookie, double chocolate cookie and strawberry banana. The ones with fudge and chocolate are real treats.

Had my very first Hesburger burger on my way back from my hike and it was great. Not had a lot of it though, but it was the experience that counts haha
I've made hamburgers into rye breads several times and I can say it's fantastic, I vastly prefer them over the wheat buns that you normally get. That said though, I have no idea if hese's versions are any good. Since I spice and shape the patties myself, the composition inevitably ends quite different from what a corporation would offer.
You should try their burger salad. it's just a basic salad topped with two burger patties, cheese and bacon. Yummy AF and doesn't make you too full. I often have it for lunch.
If you do a second trip, try the kerroshampurilainen which is the top seller. Chicken tortilla (jalapenosa, cheese cubes etc,) and one of the meaty salads. I like the hamburger salad which is veggies, two beef patties, a slice of cheese and two strips of bacon with a side packet of mayo.

You should try the mayos and dips. I like to combine chicken nuggets with BBQ dip or curry mayo. And I always put garlic mayo and extra salt in to the chicken burger. Makes it way better.

In Baltic countries there's also Hesburger everywhere and as most said people really love their mayonnaise. Paprika mayonnaise is my top one. By the way, the prices are 2x lower.
I'm from Portugal and i LOVE Hesburger they have a great selection of vegetarian options 😋😋
hi dave..! the second burger you ate is actually "kerros hampurilainen" which is their biggest seller, you recognize the burger for the cardboard thing around it. Mega burger is much bigger and comes without the cardboard.

Dave Cad, I recommend you also check out some of the Swedish speaking areas in Finland. Like Ekenäs [Nyland] or Vasa/Jakobstad/Närpes/Vörå/Oravais/Nykarlebi... [Österbotten] and see if you find any differences between them and Helsinkki.

I suddenly have a weird urge for Hesburger. Damn you Dave! 😂 It is a bit problematic in Hesburger the amount of mayo they use. I never eat big ones because it is just way too messy. My go-to is the double-cheese burger.
i live in estonia but used to live in finland and occasionally visit too but imo between kfc(which we have in estonia), burger king, hesburger and mcdonalds i think hesburger has the best fries easily. crispy on the outside but soft on the inside and the perfect thickness
hesburger in estonia tho kinda sucks. every other time they get my order wrong. everyone swears by it here too but its just miles better in finland so i prefer mcdonalds here

For me kerrosateria (dubleburger meal) with extra paprikamayo for chips is the meal, but now I have to try the Kebabburger for sure! .
Chicken nuggets, soy strips, paprikamajoneesi, tortillas and salads are also awesome from Hesburger

The fries are good with grill seasoning. The cucumber mayo is the best. The ketchup is also good. My favorite is the chicken tortilla, without jalopeno. It's really tasty!

My favourite hesburger burger is "tuplajuusto pekoni hampurilainen" aka "double cheese bacon hamburger" it comes around every once in a while. And it is delicious

I love love looove the soy tortilla! It has deep fried soy bits and feta cheese. The almost same thing is the vegetarian version, veggie tortilla, but it does not have feta and the mayonnase is the veggie chili version. Now I gotta taste the kebab burger, if it truly is that good! Your post made me hungry. And I generally favor Hesburger over McDonalds, because Hese has way more sauce in their burgers while Mäkki is quite dry and somewhat too vinegary for my taste.
We go to "maanantai päivän pelastus" with my friends and it means that we go to Hesburger every monday😂
I don't usually go to Hesburger anymore. It used to be the go to place when I was a kid, but nowadays I prefer Burger King. I only go to Herburger when they have the Superjuustopekonihampurilainen as a campaign product (never realized the monster of a name that has :D).
These are those matter of taste things. Hesburger burgers are juicy compared to others. They dont go shy on sauces/mayos 😄 thats why my favourite is any Heses burger. I got hungry, thanks for that 😉

I ate the kana-hampurilainen once and pretty much got hooked i LOVE the mayo at hesburger. I didn't like it when they changed the shape of the chicken burger from long to round

Firstly, you eat the burgers up side down. It taste different when you eat it right side up. But yeah, happy to see you get Hesburger for taste, now you are real Finnish like citizen. :)

The second burger you ate was kerroshampurilainen, because mehapurilainen has tomato and it dont have that circle thing on it.
Daaave, you need to eat them hot, or as warm as they give them, also, that's not how you eat the burgers. XD You take the white ring off and wrap the paper back around one half of the burger to prevent getting so messy from the mayo, like eating a hotdog or sausage at a grill you know? It keeps the fillings inside and lets you eat neatly. That's one of the reasons I prefer Hesburger to McDonald's because I really don't like the packing in McD's since you get messy and fillings drop out, unless you take one that's also wrapped, like the cheeseburgers. You're not the only one who doesn't know how to eat Hesburger's wrapped burgers though, I've sat with people who had mayo all over the face and even in their hair. Ewwww. :D Hesburger's fries have dropped in quality in the recent years though so they wouldn't have been great anyway. Thanks for the vid!

Traditionally the add on for the burgers go on top such as lettuce, tomatoes and such, therefore we tend to eat the burgers with everything on top without out even thinking it's upside down.
It is huge insult to the guy who invented burger if you eat it upside down.

You should make a video about that situation, where you go and order those burgers and say "5-7 burgers, please!", 'cause it would be so cool to see servers faces, like "How many?!" ;)
Once I had a situation, where I used Pizza-Online service, and I ordered for me and my seven friends a couple of pizza and two or three kebab plates, and the restaurant owner actually called me: "Did you really order this much??!!" and I tried to explain, that "Yes, it's for me and my seven friends! We just used the same account..." It took a while to make him realize that there was a huge student group which had bad hangover, and we needed those pizzas... XD
Anyway, great video once again, and I have to admit that I don't order burgers, when I go to Hesburger, I always order Chicken Tortilla, which is so goooooood!!!! It's not a burger, but try that!
