Thank you, I ordered an after Market wheel for my Logitech g920 but I didn’t want my buttons to be on the wheel as I would use my controller for all the needs of my buttons and wanted a more realistic look for my setup

Been trying to get a drift video made but I'm having FFB issue with FH3 once the car oversteers the wheel goes limp with no FFB. But hopefully I'll get it sorted out lol
Yeah it's pretty different wheel to wheel I just found settings that worked for my wheel set up tool a little till I was happy with it lol

The e brake wiring is a simple button switch. It should be fairly simple to find on youtube

The bigger wheel equals less force feedback also I used a wireless 6 volt momentary switch so I didn't have to run wires out of my g29 and it works flawlessly
Do you have to reconnect the buttons after you remove them from the hub? Or can you use the wheel just as normal without the buttons connected?

I have noticed that if you remove the original controller board where the buttons are, the pc gets crazy, or actually, the mainboard of the g29 goes crazy. It basically presses buttons randomly cause probably the circuit stays open and there is a GND issue. Any solution for this? Cause I want to attach the wheel straight to the g29 without any excessive play and weight, so that would be the best solution for this plastic toy.

Is there any way the hand break can be connected into non- moving part of the steering wheel? Like where the pcb located in the motor?
Do u know a good way to retain the buttons on a t150 wheel if you adapt a real steering wheel to it? (The wheel doesn’t have screws in it to remove it separately from button control pad)

There is a way yes I have done so I have 2 sets of wires so I can change it around. I have to post videos and pictures of it here soon

I am doing this now and as I pulled the boss and controls off it pulled the connector off the wires before I got to take a picture of the order, meaning I don’t know which order they go back in... can anyone help with a picture of the order? Would really really appreciate it! Thanks

Do you recommend taking the circuit board completely off of the rig and leaving it on the side, or would you have rather left it connected to the rig in hindsight?
I tried to use the g29 without the circuit board, unfortunately by doing so button 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 20 21 24 25 are registered as constantly pressed (as if buttons are normally open). So I guess the circuit board is needed.
I wish it wasn’t like that because I don’t want to risk damaging the connectors (I don’t know the exact name of the connectors so it will be hard to find replacement online). I don’t need the Logitech buttons since i have a custom wheel and button box.
Hey I’ve got a handbrake but it has 4 wires how do I wire that up? To the baby button so I can use handbrake instead of B as in the video, you only have two wires

Pretty sick. Do you know of any websites I can go to that do custom wheels for people? For example, you send in the wheel that you have, in my case Logitech g920, and then ask for a specific design on a wheel. They put it on, and send it back, for a price. Hell, even something similar, like buying a whole new custom logitech g920 would be fine. Any ideas?

This probably a dumb a question but does the right paddle on the wheel still work after wiring the handbrake to it? Or is the handbrake the only way to use the right button from then on?

Isn't it possible to use a finished Ebrake from ebay for instance that already has a button and a USB cable you can put directly into Xbox.. or doesn't that work on Forza and other games?

An Xbox will not recognize a USB handbrake in games from what I know only a pc will that is why is did this when I was ok xbox

Nope..he just removed that annoying console of the wheel:)
It does actually make it around 0.35 lbs lighter

Yes the wheel and hub are heavier and yes I use a 350mm NRG wheel.

Davie Kinnair I'm not sure I haven't weighed the standard wheel so I'm not sure what the difference is in weight if been looking for the same info.
The factory wheel weight is 1lb .3oz and the 350mm NRG weight is 2lb 3.2oz so there is a little weight difference
So with all the buttons on the factory wheel its weight is 1lb 1.2oz

you would need a mecanical keyboard i think, i tore a keyboard apart and while possible it was to much of a hazzle, mechanical keyboard should be a lot easier to solder onto if i understand it right.
i used an old wheel i have had for 10 years, also USB controllers work, easy to solder to.

I also have a quick release setup, there are a good few types of quick release, i bought a slimline quick release from ebay, i then fitted that to my base and the other part to the back of my wheel, i now swap between 4 wheels i have and i love it,4 wheels 4 slimlines.

- H.J.E - the ebrake wires are wired into the right shift paddle and than to a momentary button switch mounted on my handbrake

You have to get a adapter from online there are many out there the wheel company’s have not put any out yet so there are aftermarket ones out there

With bigger rim wheel I have my feedback a little lower and it is really in the set up of the car that makes it throw and move easy I have some tunes uploaded give one of them a shot and see what you think
