I once heard a story about a Bodhisatva who got into trouble with some priests for removing gold leaf off some Buddha statues and selling the leaf to help aid the unfortunate. The priests shouted at him saying: "You are going to hell for this!" The Bodhisatva, replied: "You mean... I will be reborn in the lowest realm, helping those who suffer the worst? What an amazing opportunity!!!"
No.. Being a Buddha is the hardest thing to ever do and to fulfill the requirements it takes billions of different lives and countless amounts of sacrifices in order to help others... That's why the Buddha is the greatest man who ever lived... But it is possible to be an Arahant which means that just like the Buddha, there is no further suffering or lives but it requires way less fulfillments to be done..

Most people don’t kill. Instead they vote for someone else to do it or that someone else pays someone else to do it. Or instead of spending every penny to save starving kids or help sick people they buy dumb objects and at the end of the day call themselves “a good person”. Or they don’t educate themselves and say “communism is good” or “there is only 1 God and it’s my God and your God is different” . It reminds me of people who won’t slit an animals throat but would eat it’s dead flesh afterwards. And who says that death is a negative thing? New body fresh start. Everything in the universe is a product of it’s environment. I find it interesting how a single ignorant thought can manifest itself on the physical plane. If you can’t control the mind then you can’t control the body. Most people control others better than themselves. Even far less ever realize that control itself is a great illusion. KRSNA says in bagavad Gita that in the material world only the gunas are in control. Karma is a science, we’re in Kali Yuga expect darkness to reign, the sun is in detriment in Aquarius
