Blake, if you can get all your neighbors to sign a petition and get someone on the city council to help, you might be able to get drains to help this situation. I can’t imagine how much your local taxes are so you and your neighbors deserve some help with this situation!
Dear Blake, 🙏🏻 when you was building the Aviary pond with Aqua space I suggested you that you need to do something about the water flow when it floods. Now it's a same story. I hope all animals are in good shape. Peace out ✌️

We're getting the same storm up here in Atlantic Canada, North of Maine, on Saturday, although up here it's called a Nor'Easter, basically a late fall, winter hurricane, Friday Night and all day Saturday.

8:07 Emus typically in general have no issues with water, not all Australia is baking dry land, and Emus are found in all types of habitats all across Australia, wet and dry and all in between.

Blake how about digging a very deep and long pond in that area and just build it up around the pond and put heaps of water plants? Yeah it might dry out certain times of the year but still should hold some water all year round

Here in Iowa we flood al lot we use tile drainage under fields for the rain to drain more easier. Takes time, money and effort but helps 100% for future issues..
Glad u and ur family and the animals are safe its crazy what the weathers been like in Florida and new new jersey its been nice one day the really cold the next day we haven't had much rain here in new jersey but it is crazy to see how much rain Florida gets

Here in Jamaica we build something called soak away dig a reasonable size hole filled it with sand and gravel attach ur drain pipes

HI BLAKE......WHAT ABOUT IF YOU INVESTED IN ONE OF THOSE WATER DELIVERY TRUCKS.....THEN YOU COULD PUMP THE WATER INTO THE TRUCK...THEN DRIVE IT SOMEPLACE AND DUMP THE WATER OUT.....THOSE TRUCKS MUST HOLD 3-5000 GALLONS.....YOU MIGHT HAVE TO MAKE A FEW TRIPS....BUT YOU COULD GET RID OF THE WATER QUICK....
you should really plant some Willow trees one there great at sucking up a lot of water and two they're a great food source for both your cows , donkeys and your goats

Mezzanine / half Floor

where Goats , Chicken , Capybara , Pig and Turkey other land animals below 2 feet in height can go
If you planted native species and rotated your ruminants, they wouldn’t destroy the grass as much and you would not lose nearly as much soil because the grass would be there to hold in the dirt but I know you have a pretty packed property so I get it if it’s not something that is feasible
Feel bad for the animals that have to tread through that mess. In a crisis like this, I'm sure you will find a way 😮
Blake, look into a thermal imaging attachment for your phone. It might help you find your tortoises.

You need to dig a French drain diverting it away from the animals and to areas that don’t affect your land and neighbours maybe towards ditches or cooperating with ppl around you bro

Is the street clear of water? When I flood I put my pump in the water and the hose out to the street. My street has a small decline that dead ends in a ditch and small field. So the water flows down the street, I set the pump as soon as the water is deep enough for the pump and then the water never goes higher thank goodness it it would be in my house. You are popular on you tube mention the water company or whoever is responsible for drains if everyone around you has a drain and you don't-- start naming names and they will put in a drain for you

Sorry this keeps happening but on the bright side your plants are about to grow like a mofo
OK water solution dig a huge pit and put a couple of 100,000 Litre water tanks in it then cover them up, use the soil from the pit to raise the ground level in some areas. You can set the tanks up so they either act like drains, or you can pump water into them when it rains. Then when it is dry you can pump the water back out of them onto the property, that way it should never get to wet or to dry. how does that idea sound ?.
