I own this bag in chestnut- it's bulletproof, beautiful and worth every dime!! At least 3 to 4 people ask me about it everywhere I go. Functional Artwork.
I stumbled on one of these water bags (small) in Carbon Black at the garage sale weeks back and didn’t truly appreciate what I was sold until I saw this video. It was actually a bundle w/o the shirt. The size is perfect, that I got it in Carbon Black is even more delicious.
@saddlebackLeather That's great to hear. I love my Leatherman tools, I won't buy any other. I just ordered one of your large satchels in dark coffee, I am really excited to get it!
I ordered one on Cyber Monday to use as my main flight bag. Looking forward to using it on my trip to Russia in January :D UPDATE: Received mine a couple of days ago and chuffed with it, glad its very comfortable on your back since its primarily going to be in backpack mode :D. I was potentially thinking on looking out for a set of the padded tank straps sold with the older tank backpack in the future to use instead of the pads provided to try them out, although I haven't had an issue with the pads in the past.
@ringenberg2: I found that the "Fiji Tri-Fold" method much more useful for Jeep trips. The Fijians are renown folders in their own right and having that much flexibility while increasing the interior space by 30% just cannot be beat with either the "Aussie" or "Scott" fold...
May I ask what the different ways of folding are intended for? I am looking to purchase one of these bags soon for a Jeep trip through quite a few states and I would love to know what the different folding ways are for more specifically the "scotland" and "australia" fold. Thank you so much!
This is a great design. I’d like to attempt to build one like it. Do you object if I use the design? There will be some modifications to accommodate the needs for off shore use. Finding a really good design hasn’t been the easiest task ever but your bag is a good start. The solid hide is a clever concept to lesson the chance of water damage to the contents.
@saddlebackLeather So are there any plans on making any other products in the chestnut leather? Because I would love to get the classic briefcase in chestnut.
Sounds like the veg tanned version that we can’t get. Sadly I stopped buying as the chrome tanned is less desirable for many reasons. Appearance and wear appearance are much improved on veg tanned. At their prices they should be offering it.
That looks to be the medium size and not the large 24 inch Dave is quoting. This bag has the backpack mode loop on it. Can someone confirm this bags size for me? Thanks
+Robert Corser Hmmm, I don't think he's gotten that video yet. And I think things are different at the factory where that might not happen any more. - Sid

Sweet looking bag! Love the sound of the leather squeaking..

I have a pair of the padded tank straps in black if you're interested in buying.
@@Destructor2007 Thanks, unfortunately I am looking to get either the Tobacco 🚬, Dark Coffee Brown ☕ or Chestnut 🌰 however.

Great bag! Thanks for sharing Dave!

@Seanton35 not sure which leatherman it is, but it's a Leatherman. I'm not big on buying imitations.
I like Saddleback product, its look so tough

Is that a Leatherman supertool 200 on your table dave? I love LM! Great minds think alike I guess. I carry a Leatherman Pulse every day.
Is this a coffee one?

+Derek Johnson Hey Derek, yes, that would be the medium Waterbag. -William
So what's the surprise from Scotland???
Yikes! Well it's a good commercial for your easy simple duffel bag!
Re: 7:39......did you ever record the smokin needles? Would like to see it!!

wow
Can you make one from Chestnut horse hide ? Thanks
Hey Shannon, I'm not sure if we'll ever use horse leather. That's entirely up to Dave. Thanks for the suggestion. -William
bored! Your explanation is totally boring. For God sake is just a bag there are 100 things more important than a bag
