@@JackMackWoodturning Sorry - that's what I thought "$1,000 stash box" meant, that $1,000 was the sale or commission price. Anyway, it's a lovely piece of work.
Why doesn't that huge piece of wood fly off that little point? Why doesn't that chisel fly up and break your arm? This is what non-wood turners want to know! It looks extremely dangerous! LOL
@@JackMackWoodturning that is what my furnishing teacher at school taught me, I made a clock, 3 spindles, 2 of which were for a mirror stand and the other 1 I had split in half and put on either side of a cabinet for that clock Face reveal?
@@JackMackWoodturning Lovely wood, nice shape, but for example 5:04 & 6:25 to my eye this looks like a blemish. I can't see it as a nice feature of the wood, for whatever reason. The more irregular piece of bark on the other side looks better to me, maybe just the more convoluted shape.
OK, so they don't steal your stash, but they steal that incredibly cool looking orb on your sofa table!!!!.... great burl turn, beautiful!.....
7:34 So satisfying.... ☺️
Craftsmanship is nice but that thing will definitely attract attention
I will always love these videos, such creativity it’s amazing
You should watch the creativity of the same video he uploaded 2 years ago, lol.
Gorgeous!
That's a gorgeous piece of wood! Looks like an exoplanet on the stand. Cool.
Nice!
Gotta love that burl!
What a cool idea, very imaginative.
I watch them all because they are all amazing people with a great mind and heart to do what they do
I really had no idea where exactly that was going til you actually put it together. Clever design. Beautiful burl wood!
You are gifted with amazing talent. I only watch your wood turning videos. The best. Thank you. This is a beautiful piece of work.🏆
Very nice, a great design.

Nice work lath 😊😊
Awesome Jack Mack creation! That wood is perfect and reminds me of the moon 🌕 That price is worth that money role. Be well always good man😀
💙💙💙
❤❤❤❤
Thanks
Is there another element, apart from your incredible design and work, that contributes to the $1,000 price tag? is the wood unusually rare?
There is no price tag here..
Lol - it was built to hide a $1000 roll of ills. You might have missed that part of the vid.

You always manage to make Stunning things. Can you get the money out? And Will you remember that there is money in it? Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🦌⛄ Jack Mack.
So are you just uploading old videos now?
I noticed that too. The old ones are still there too, so it's not like they got removed for some reason.
Cheeky thumbnail 😂
😉 did you enjoy the video? ☺️

This should be interesting to say the least
(I guess I got too excited and read that wrong)
How did you read it ?
@JackMackWoodturning silly me thought you'd be wood turning the cash 🤣🤣🤣... I just woke up, forgive me.
@ that feels like a silly thing to do 😆
@@JackMackWoodturning So was taping a banana to a wall. But today's silly is tomorrows multi-million dollar art piece... I say go for it... 😂😂
@ I’m going to do it… soon as I untape this carrot from my ceiling
💯🇧🇷👏
Hey jack what hollowing tool do you use in all your videos for vases and stuff
Why was the black base done in two parts instead of one?
Jupiter lookin ass orb

I'm curious about what kind of PPE you wear. Do you wear something to protect your whole face or just goggles?
I wear a face shield. Goggles are not enough protection.

Face reveal?
@@JackMackWoodturning I thought that would surely be the case. Thanks for replying! ^_^
Too much bark left on for my taste.
You mean that very small brown patch?

Give away clue?
I just noticed, your surface finish is so good, sometimes you can see your gouge reflected in the piece as it turns, even before sanding
