I eat them without milk, just like a cracker, just buttered. Surprisingly not as dry as you might think, the butter helps in this regard. But not beyond a glass of milk accompanying (not on) it!
That first "Unbeatabix" ad made me really want some weetabix, and I don't ordinarily consume cereal (or, indeed, breakfast). I wish ad jingles would come back.
I thought I was the only one who's had Weet-Bix (the Australian equivalent) everyday for almost all their life. I remember my dad always teasing me about it. I don't even need any sugar or anything, just 5 of those biscuits in a bowl with milk and I'm golden. OKAY!
i absolutely adored Dunk,Bixie,Brian,Brain's and Crunch when i was a kid.hated the cereal, but force fed myself to get my hands on another box.i was a member of their club, and collected anything to do with them.recently had my love of them rekindled and have amassed a large collection of WEETAGANG memorabilia from back in the day
The thing that strikes me the most about the Robin Hood ad is not just him being afraid of the Sheriff because he eats Weet-Bix, but the song treating his retreat as a wise move. As if it's obvious he has no chance against the awesome power of a Weet-Bix breakfast.
“We’re Weatabix” was so cute

I could never remember who Heston Blumenthal reminded me of when I first saw him. Now I remember.
I find myself now going to the shop to get some lol!
I still have my Weetabix! A staple in many West Indian households back then and still in mine 41 years later.

I think that baby had a flashback to Nam.
I had weetabix this morning

I grew up in the 2000s and I always remember the Ready Brek advert with the kids glowing red. My mum does too lmao
Why would they call them Skin Heads?
The term "skinhead" used to refer to a type of British punk rocker, not Neo-Nazis. That came later.
@@ThePhantomSafetyPin Thanks to the BBC.
This is a great birthday present!
Never heard of Weetabix before. Is it any good?
It's the best 👌

Most of these ads are complete rubbish. I'd like to see more of those great ads from the 60s and 70s.
OKAY!
Best After These Messages ever! But I prefer to eat the store-brand imitation wheat biscuits from Sainsbury's instead of the popular Weetabix cereal.
I feel like having a weetabix tomorrow
Hey have you had your weetabix? Good video mate. I think almost all brits like you and me had weetabix for breakfast as kids.
Is it me or can you make out the voice of Bob Hoskins as one of the skinheads?
Yes Bob is one of the voices
The one that says OK is aimed at young kids as I did when I saw them on the early 80s. It gets slightly annoying when you get over 10.
Yeah!
Lost?
