6:10 inb4 all of these dreams in this dialogue are allegories for Paimon's life. those dreams sound so sus. "The first time, Paimon became an Anemo Slime. Paimon was shot by an adventurer's arrow and flew in the sky all night long." The second half of that sounds like she was the moon. *A moon sister perhaps???* "The second time, Paimon became a Dendro Slime. A group of kids thought Paimon was a radish and pulled out all the grass on her head. It was super painful!" Ngl, Idk what this could be. lol (edit: WAIT I just realized if you replace radish with fish, it could be about when Traveler fished her out of the water.) "The third time, Paimon became a Cryo Slime. In the end, Paimon was captured by a chef and turned into a smoothie." This line reminds me of one of Ashikai's recent lore theories where Paimon is supposed to be a Eucharist and will probably be eaten or absorbed by the traveler near the end of the story (yes, emergency food is lore now lol). Of course, this heavily relies on Ashikai's theory being what actually happens. "And the fourth time, Paimon became a powerful Geo Slime and went to take revenge on the Forest Boar that used to bully Paimon." Idk what this is either, but I'm gonna assume this alludes to Paimon regaining her power in the future somehow, but I'm worried that the traveler will turn out to be the bully that she fights. lol. Ok, but in all seriousness, I have no idea who the bully could be. I'm probably reading too much into this, but the dialogue seemed too sus not to try and make a theory from it.
I mean when you have stuff like the prayers circlet sets/ the samsara cycles for elsewhere, its hard NOT to look Very Hard when presented with 4 lives, much less by *Paimon* of all people. I do find it interesting if this is met to be important, it *doesn't* match the elements of the cycles we got in those sets. It should be Cyro, Pyro, Hydro, then Electro. But Paimon here has Anemo, Dendro, Cyro, and Geo. I don't know what to do with that detail, but I don't know what to do with this in general.
Damn.... didn't expect Nahida's speech here would make me tear up, she's learned and grown soo much that her words resonated with me deeply. Thnx for giving my morning dose of depression Nahida.

As a person who dreams a lot, I find it enjoyable and annoying at the same time and it reminded of this story quest. Nahida is so adorable in her story quest, our little radish ❤
He’s kinda doing what Maruki did, giving people what they lost and a way to avoid that pain. It’s a bit strange for me to think about dreams since I will only have a handful of dreams a year. It would be a strange experience going from that to having dreams regularly.
It actually would make sense if Traveler has told Nahida about the greater lord. In the Scaramouch quest in irmnsul, deleting things from it doesn't make it not exists because its like a hidden file stored in a place that no one can easily reach, so it appears to the world that it doesn't exists. Greater lord rukkadevata may have been dead for real but her existence still remains in Irmnsul somewhere. AND on top of that, even if Traveler has told Nahida about her, the world can still be deceived because in their minds the heavenly principles gaze cannot reach that, we've learned that in fontaine. I just find that interesting now that we're at this point.
No, I think Rukkadevata is gone from the world in all sense of the world. There is a reason why the Greater Lord had to make Kusanali, so that Nahida can completely remove Rukkadevata from Irminsul. Rukkadevata cannot completely remove herself from Irminsul, just like how Scaramouche was not able to completely remove himself from existence.
@@Junjou0305 i believe that a lot of people miss the idea of "existence". i understand that it was said that she doesn't exists in the world anymore. BUT that doesn't mean her essence of existence completely disappeared. Irmnsul works exactly like a storage device, when you delete something it doesn't actually get deleted, it just that the sector it was saved on got cut out of the physical storage location. Same idea here, i know the traveler is a witness but he's not a god that can keep or remove things from existence in the entire universe. Existence in it self still remain, its just perceiving it is hard because it is hidden completely. Take the akasha for example, it can make people think things don't exists, just like how Azar couldn't see Nahida trapped. There is a stronger force that made him think she's not there which is the "Akasha" Irmnsul is a bigger form of the Akasha where it can affect the entire world not just Sumeru city. In Nahida story she also felt there was someone that she forgot, if Rukkadevata really gone Nahida wouldn't even have a glimpse of thoughts about her, but she kind of did for a second.
This is a deep cut, but Moseis and Emira remind me of Berkut and Rinea from Fire Emblem Echoes if anyone reading this might have played that. One man’s distorted lust for power leads him to give up even his own sanity for the sake of building a life with his lover, only to have it backfire heavily on both of them and turn said lover into a monster in the process. Though Berkut takes it a bit further with Rinea. This quest overall was a great narrative of grief, and Nahida’s words to the crowd at the end were lovely.
the star had a dendro effect so i always assumed it was the dream showing Nahida a bit of Rukkhadevata since she has the lingering feeling, so the dream couldnt straight up manifest her
Wow the idea of forbidden knowledge being something deleted from irmunsul says a lot. That's interesting.🤔 So is there a chance that something was deleted even before celestia came on the planet. If yes then it makes sense why they are so adamant on guarding it.
I personally don't think it would've mattered. Rukkhadevata's existence is what was tainted and had to be erased from Irminsul. The memory of knowing Rukkhadevata once existed is something else. The traveller telling Nahida about her would just make it so that Irminsul records the traveler telling Nahida about something that was deleted from Irminsul, not re-establishing Rukkhadevata's entire tainted existence into it. Just like Nahida Wanderer and Paimon learning about Wanderer's deleted past didn't re-establish his existence as Kunikuzuzhi or the Balladeer into Irminsul.
@@lily-_- in the scaramouche interlude quest, it tells us that all the things he did in the past still happened. his existence was never deleted. only the memory of him. memory and existence are 2 different things. there are plenty of people who've existed in real life that people have forgotten, but they still existed, so i don't see how wanderer's existence could be re-established when it was never removed in the first place, which we know for a fact because we find him wandering around. only difference is he also lost the memories of himself. he still existed, but the memory of him was gone.
This was the only thing that was bothering me about Nahida's story quest, otherwise her story quest is great. From what I understand, Rukkadevata had to erase her existence and all memories of herself because just the memories someone has of her is enough to trigger the forbidden knowledge. Aether knowing is fine because he/his memories are not recorded in Irminsul, but him telling Nahida is highly risky, as that may be enough to trigger forbidden knowledge again. Aether should have known that, so him suddenly wanting to tell Nahida is weird.
One time I had a dream where someone in my dream had a pet centipede, and it was a really big centipede, and it somehow got in my shirt and started crawling all over my back, and then I woke up immediately after, recoiling and super tense.
Wait, did they remove the battle music in the dream? I've watched a newer UA-camr played this sq recently and there was no battle theme in the dream when they were fighting. If it was intentional, it made the scene a whole lot better.

Paimon had 4 dreams... And now we know that we're in the 4th samsara. Coincidence??? I think not (lol)

Imagine a random Sumeru person asking "Who's Lord Kusanali Lesser to?" and everyone starts wondering if there's the greater one.
Eventually, people will ask Nahida, who will start questioning the same thing. Meanwhile, the Traveler is just looking away awkwardly in the corner.
Easy explanation though. Greater lord was when she had adult body or before 500yrs where she exhausted her power. Lesser lord is current Nahida.
