Most Altadenans are "heirloom residents" that are not in alignment with the current home prices (ditto most of L.A.) I lived there briefly last year and thought it was an absolutely lovely little town filled with really nice people. It has a bit of L.A. flair but definitely more down to earth. My guess is that most of these "heirloom residents" won't return but who knows. I love Altadena, but considering you can get three or four homes in other real estate markets for the same price it would be a hard sell to stay around especially if everyone and everything you know is gone. Right now, nearly everywhere in L.A. is populated by people that are only there by virtue of the fact they've lived there for decades &/or inherited a property. I can barely even buy a decent starter condo here in e.g. La Mirada for less than a million.

It does matter, DumDum, because racism is why these people were there in the first damn place, DumDum.
Do y’all think before you type?
Amen brother! I pray everyone there can build back! This is literally one of the last surviving black communities in California!
❤Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ (that He died for your sins on the cross, was in the grave and rose from the dead) and get saved today! Much evil is in this world and it's going to get worse. Choose life! Jesus is the Way and the Truth and the Life! ❤️For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life
Prayers to you sir ❤🙏🏾💔🤧
You are heard.
❤
blah blah blah...........more racism more lies.
Redlining is not a lie
Comments are wild in this YT.
I just pray for fairness to all humans in LAX Fire & Carolina floods.
All needs basic help, roof over their heads, food, water & some clothes.
Stop building houses with 10 pillars and 16 toilets 🚻.
All that brick and mortar can be used to build a roof for a homeless person, but that homeless person will have to show they are willing to embrace & look after what they receive.
The billionaires & millionaires can for once just build the basics & refrain from building white elephants 🐘
I'm so glad to hear about normal people and not having the celebs shoved down our throats! God bless this man and all who have lost everything. Prayer for you all. God bless this man for his strong faith in his Lord! I'm also praying for the families who've lost loved ones in the fires. May God see you through all of this.
All respect to those that lost, but remember the fires in Cali a few years back that burned up everything, even the metal appliances
Wow Grace of God there go I you never know what someone going through amen Jesus
Fire suppression systems INSIDE the house... This is why the legacy media is utterly loathed. Smoke alarms & carbon monoxide alarms are NOT fire suppression systems or devices.

Tragic
The report's beginning is indicative of the problems there, "we're in passdena due to lack of connectivity."
Being stupid can be devastating
Governor & Mayor are guilty of criminal negligence
So, thank you for reporting on a main point for REPARATIONS NOW!
