One of the best Brits doing an American accent was Hugh Laurie in the TV series "House". He was so brilliant that I, an American, never suspected he wasn't American until I saw him on a talk show. And even then, I thought he was an American doing a British accent! Congrats, Mr. Laurie - you nailed it!
she was by far the most humble and kind hearted royal. But she made two mistakes, one marrying a foreigner after divorcing Charles (which pissed off the royals as the princes shouldn't have a half sibling) and secondly leaking royal secrets (which is a serious offence). Obviously both reasons led to her assassination.
GameBros Ⓡ I think it’s absurd that she couldn’t do as she pleased after the divorce. Women who get divorced daily do it, why couldn’t she? Who cares if she was royal, she wasn’t after the divorce. Her boys were but she’s not her boys is she? But the queen deffo wanted her dead I’ll give you that 😭😂💔🤦🏽♀️
A lot of British people loved Diana deeply because of the things she done for those less fortunate. She broke all the rules that the royals were supposed to follow and created a new viewpoint about the monarchy to the public. Many people didn’t need to have met her to feel like they knew her, so when she died the public were heartbroken. I suppose he could have known her but there’s a large possibility that he never but was still deeply upset by her passing.

The trouble isn't Americans getting jobs on British sets and vice versa. When I did a study in media, to but it straight, we need more ethnicity in front of the camera as well as in post production. It's improving but hardly by leaps and bounds.
@@lejenddairy Not really. Most films are made in Hollywood America. Americans rarely act in films made by european movie studios. More Europeans take roles made by American studios than vice versa.
Michael Caine was filming a movie where he needed a southern accent, and he had the good fortune to meet Vivien Leigh. He asked her how she perfected her accent for "Gone With the Wind", and she said she went around saying "fowah dowah fowad" (four-door Ford) until she was blue in the face. :-D

Watch British television shows. They NEVER spring for an American actor when there is a bit part that's supposed to be an American character, and the faux American accents are HORRIBLE!!
A note on the New York accent - besides being the hardest for Brits to do, if an American actor has that accent, speech coaches that help American actors lose their regional accent, say that it is the hardest one to get rid of..
The funny thing is that for non-native english speakers, like me, is one of the easiest to understand. Northerneast coast accents are easy, in fact.

"Her majesty the queen"
So beautiful how he respectfully says that. It's almost as like she was in front of him. Loved it!
Unfortunately respect for her majesty is getting less and less among young people, they haven't lived long enough to see how tirelessly she's worked for the vast majority of her life in a role she didn't choose and wasn't even born to do, it's only because her Uncle abdicated that her Father became King. She was only ever meant to be a minor royal.

Alice Plamedie I just automatically read your comment in a British accent in my own head 😂
and how he looked down after. Oh God the feels
she was by far the most humble and kind hearted royal.
But the queen deffo wanted her dead I’ll give you that 😭😂💔🤦🏽♀️
I u agree with you on the divorce matter however spilling royal secrets was a death wish to be honest. And Diana knew that herself.

Lorraine Scott Princess Diana died in a car accident back in 97'.
