Nice setup. One suggestion for you, use the cigarette plug on your portable battery to run your fridge. By using the 110v outlet you’re wasting power by converting the battery power to 110v and then back to 12v to run your fridge. Using its cigarette cord keeps everything at 12v with minimal power loss. Best wishes on your journeys.
Hey Byron, I wanted to suggest that with the electronics added Consider Grabbing a couple of quality ABC type fire extinguishers if the batteries in your devices are Lithium based They can overheat (in charging ) and if its the generator or the fridge was to happen YOu will find Maybe some "odd off gassing " early on and then an explosive Fire can happen and the batteries are Near impossible to extinguish once they "explode" The idea is If you hear or see some strange sounds Get the device out of the vehicle if possible and hopefully Underwater ( they are very close to impossible to put out) either way You have a bit of an investment in gear, Its worth protecting the stuff in general, what about a set of snow chains ?
Maybe an Inverter with just enough grunt to power an electric blanket would be handy? You'll have to remember the extra height before you roar up the drive and into the garage, or maybe thru the odd drive through haha You've got the traction boards, now maybe a folding shovel, and whack off about 6 foot of ya old man's garden hose to use for a syphon hose if needed, and a small axe or hatchet I love the way you take on tasks full on and with great amount of skills for a 16 year old puppy
Nice commercial without it being a commercial. :) Glad you have a sponsor now, good for you. Nice truck, and you have it looking good. Solar panels for power will be nice. Can't think of much more you really need to do to it, except the bigger battery bank. Enjoy life. You only get one shot.
Hello from South Africa, love your truck. Here it's called a Hilux, a legendary reputation for Toyota. The one that the farmers normally have. Really love the colour, roof rack looks amazing up there. The other thing I would think would go a long way for what you do is a large water reservoir for cooking and cleaning up after. Keep doing what you are, really enjoying following along. 👍
I really enjoy your videos and am impressed by your maturity at such a young age. Keep up the good work and use this money for a tank of gas and supplies. Take care and be safe.
Enjoyed the video as always my friend! Love your truck, used to have one myself and I miss it.. you got a nice setup and I've enjoyed watching your channel grow and recently explode! Congratulations! As far as an add-on, you're a fisherman, you really need a fishing rack for at least one pole or a collapsible pole for emergencies..haha. See ya next time!
Nice man like the roof rack. I also like the look of the truck man. One step at a time. Also just to let you know I used the baits that I bought from you and caught fish thank btw. As always safe travels man
Great deal on the fridge! I do have the sticker that I ordered from the link. It looks great in the Van Cave. After Fedex runs tomorrow I should be able to hook up with you for a great time and collaboration. It will be a great time.
From South Africa.... I'm just reflecting on how fortunate you are... When I was your age. I was compulsory conscripted into military service, then forced to literally go hunt and kill humans in the bush for 2 years
Did you use a ratchet and socket? If you get in trouble and you need to remove them and use them to get unstuck, do you have that socket and ratchet in the truck? Does you DC fridge/freezer have a battery in it?
Do you belong to AAA ? AAA emergency road service and assistance. AAA has several membership levels. I have the top membership Premier level - appx $ 160.00 per year. I highly recommend it - worth every cent. The Premier level provides up to 200 miles of towing if needed.
Hey Byron! Im a 14 yr old kentuckian and im wanting to do a similar build to your truck with my 1994 Toyota Pickup w/camper shell! I also watch @SaucySeth do you watch him?

Thank you so much man! Have a blessed rest of you year (:
I don't have any recommendations, but I can tell you that your truck is badass!!!
Toyota should sponsor your videos
Keep going Byron. Rome wasn't built in a day.😁
Nice Byron keep at it and know that we are enjoying the progress on the truck and on you!!
Plug the fridge into the DC port instead of AC will use less power.

you should put a big thing of water on the top now that you have the rack up there
I didn't notice a fire extinguisher do you have one?
I do not… will be getting one of those ASAP
The mini fridge/freezer was cool! Not sure about the roof creat. What would you keep up there? I guess whatever it is would have to be tied down.
I love you 💘😊

I have a ratchet/socket set in the truck.. for the fridge you just plug it into a 12v source

Maybe a daft question, but if you need a ladder to get to it at home, how are you going to access it when on the road?
You ever hit up yellow river State Forest since you live in Iowa ?
Great videos man , I’m in north ms and wannalearn to fish . Any lures you sell work on crappie / pan fish for my area?
I do
