I do love your little plywood, jig For testing penetration. That's awesome. I'm going to make me one for sure. I have a table saw and a dato blade. It's much cheaper than ballistic gel And I like the way you film it nice job. Thank you.
I really enjoy using it on my rifles. It will be part of all my gun reviews going forward. If you space the 1/4 plywood out one inch, we should get the same results. Let me know how it works out.

Wow Mike just the scope and the shipment by it self will be almost $65 , you bought a new rifle for $30 man , great deal and it shoots perfect , thanks for the video

I have 4 more cons. 1) plastic trigger, 2)plastic breech, 3) plastic locking detent and 4) no iron sights. I should have saved my money and bought a Crosman instead.
What model Crossman rifle would you buy for $100 that has better specs? :-)
@@backyardairguns Good question, and the answer is none of them. Crosman stuff is pretty poor actually. They made good stuff back in the '70's when Coleman owned them, but when Velocity Outdoors bought them, their quality went to pot on some of their models (not all). Now I think Gamo bought them? Maybe they will improve now, who knows.
I think you meant 'Dovetail' for scope mounting, not Weaver.

I just can't understand how any manufacturer can make and sell any rifle for this kind of money. They obviously have to make a profit as well as the agent!
The gamo hornets shoot better at higher speed to be most accurate
???? got this in .177 and didn't shoot worth a darn...cheap pellets, Premier, but got 6" group, if you can call a group, at 20 yds...could the pellets make that much difference?
I shot 2 inch groups in my video at 15 yards using Gamo Red Fire and Gamo Rocket pellets in 22 Cal. Going to 177 cal and using the Premier pellets should not make that much difference. I would try the Red Fire and Rocket pellets.

Let me know how the other pellets do. I have a review on Gamo Raptor in 177 coming out in a few weeks. I will do more 177 videos in 2024.
the one I have, great...the 5th gun I've gotten, long story haha...a lot of people say it's the scope but don't know about that...would like some scope ideas too

I just check Amazon and now its selling for $146. I know I bought this rifle on Amazon on 11/27/23 for $95. Amazon is raising the price. I will keep an eye on the rifle, and if I see it drop back down to $95, I will update this post.
