Stairway To Heaven: one of the best hikes in New Jersey! (Vernon, NJ)

On November 22, 2022 we hiked the Stairway to Heaven Trail in Vernon, NJ for the second time! We are trying to squeeze in adventures during non-chemotherapy weeks! :) This is a great trail and the view from Pinwheel Vista is pretty awesome! I noticed to parking locations near the trail which one do you recommend?

If you are doing the longer, boardwalk portion there is a road you will have to park along, the name escapes me right now. If you are not going to do the boardwalk portion we recommend parking in the lot where the trailhead begins, it’s on the smaller side so get there early.
