Pray to God that your sins may be forgiven. Repent of your sins and turn to Jesus as your Savior. Humble yourself before the cross and the throne of grace. Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and He is faithful to forgive all unrighteousness. Ask Jesus to be your Savior and that you may be born again into the family of God. Ask God to indwell you with the Holy Spirit to transform you into a new being, reconciled to God through Jesus Christ and the sacrifice He made on the cross. Believe that Jesus has died and risen again for the forgiveness of sins of all who would believe in His name.

It is possible. The entire book is a hard read though. The entire middle of the book is just Kierkegaard praising a play he likes for nearly 200 pages.
