I agree Sis. I've been in the U.S. for more than 20 years. Came as a teenager.. I started as a CNA, worked two years while in nursing school. After that, I worked as a registered nurse for 12 years before then medical school in my 30s to now MD residency.
CNA is launching point, (RN) nursing is fulfilling. then NP/DNP or even MD. Make the most of available loans. If you're a CNA, consider downsizing your work hours, take advantage of loans and grants, and work part-time while attending nursing school. This approach can help you graduate in a shorter time, possibly within two years, and you'll likely start earning a base pay of $40 per hour. I appreciate what my sister shared. She found the financial benefits of being a CNA enjoyable but wisely didn't get stuck in that role. America is our land of opportunity; let's embrace and enjoy it.....
