@Yesumo1932 most of those jobs can't help you build a house, buy a car and even raise a family to be honest. Ghana is hell now, with every passing year things get harder. Man you hit it OUT OF THE BALL PARK TOOOODAY! That was an EXCELLENT GUEST. And I might say I need a wife like her after being a widower for over 6 years now. She is sharp as a needle. That is what the bible calls 'a good thing'. The conversation was fast and crisp - I loved it. Most of all - I learned a few things too. Sitting here in the Diaspora is like being on a hamster wheel. And now after learning what Africa [the homeland ] has to offer I can't wait. Seeing all these 'other people' taking advantage of the opportunities makes me be more determined every day to [get home]. Well done young man and Thumbs Up
I did too! Although I’m in Ghana, I want to see more of Africa. I want to visit every country because I am a part of this continent and it is a part of me.
Thanks 'Capt' for this interview. This beautiful sister has an energy that is very contagious. She's extremely intelligent and insightful and gracious with it too. Welcome home !
Fantastic interview!! A highly intelligent Sister . I would love to connect with her and her husband directly. I haven't set foot in Ghana yet but want to one day. Admittedly, I was turned off by the stories that I heard of people getting ripped off buying land people that are supposed to be our own Brothers and Sisters. Sometimes, I wonder why we black people are so dishonest to each other.. Where is the love ?❤
This was an amazing interview! The information Ursula provided needs to be shared with the masses. Everything that glitters isn't gold - particularly as it relates to what native Africans are shown about the West. My husband and I will be visiting South Africa next week in preparation of our move there in the next couple years. We can hardly wait to be on African soil. Thank you for sharing with us. 🖤

That's the problem the African parent teach the children that they are British. No European losses there culture. Definitely colonized parent. I am so glad this lady have the husband she has.
Ghana also has it own set of problem. Example, doubling up prices for you if the locals know you are a diasporan. Infrastructure like bad roads. Nowhere to pee when you in town. Water outage, power outage, poor customer service. No one value time. No one seems to be Guinue. You will succeed in Ghana if you don't romanticize and have no expectations.
We have so much in common this lady has grasped that living in Ghana is a privilege and the landscapes and nature makes up for all the other problems that a third world country has it just makes you so happy to be there you can never get that in a western country
This woman is the realest ! all the other Diasporas spreading fake news ! Living in Africa is super hard...so when you see Ghanaians who want to Japa do not judge wrongly. All these diasporas making it have one thing in common! They all have dollars pounds and euros to start a business!
I don't know why some Black people who grew up in Western culture are so pressed to claim a culture that's not their own. The locals look at you sideways, because YOU ARE a foreigner --not matter how "down" you claim to be. People know their own. It's like growing up in Atlanta, then moving to Los Angeles and claiming you grew up in Los Angeles. The Los Angelesians automatically know you're not a native.
Right. Why downgrade your life to struggle? Indoor plumbing (continuous water flow) was "discovered" so we WOULDN'T run out of water in the middle of taking a sh*t. 😩😩😩

That holds true for both East and West Africa
Soon come. She is INSPIRING! And we don't need everybody in Africa.
In particular reference to those who come and only dwell on the inadequacies but fail to come up with solutions to make them work.
EXACTLY.
Thanks!

Queen O applaud your honesty. Does your kids go to GH school or the international school
People should respect What she saying
I don't mind tipping at at all. What ever you get from Africa is cheaper than the US.
The Diaspora like Ghana to many African countries
"Nothing is up. Nothing has come."🤣 Those up and coming projects. Always under construction.
😂
I heard that, and saw it for my self 😂

My dear change your mindset or else it will disturb you in a very long time
Locals don’t look at you sideways. They hail and respect you. They just don’t understand why you will give up the conveniences of the West.
😂😂in Ghana 🇬🇭 is a crazy challenge to go through there,The poverty and corruption is sickening 😢
shut your mouth. there’s corruption everywhere…
Please don’t go there we really don’t need U .we have enough of your kind ..no thinking people poverty of the mind
What about ur kid education?
There are schools in Africa
£10k is generous. I came here with less.
Good adventure tho but she can’t survive
Why not?
Why would you say that?
These land fleecing is making Africa look like a land of greedy people looking for outsiders to Rob. Also, it allows Outsider to talk Africa down.
