@ItaliaTemplar Knowing music theory is supposed to speed up your work flow, not slow you down. So with the ghost notes plus the already highlighted notes, this is going to be confusing for people to see what notes they actually need. He made this video for others to learn, not for him. I'm self taught, play piano and bass guitar and I learned traditional music theory in college. I wouldn't let that stop me from letting others know there is a better way. @Ethan MW Another point...if you're stating that 70-80 bpm is the ideal range, it would make a lot more sense to make a melody 70-80 bpm to give an example of why 70-80 is ideal. I personally don't believe in sticking to that range. Plenty of beats (both trap and non-trap hip hop) are made above 80/160 and below 140/70. It's too restrictive to only stay between 140-160. The fact that the melody he came up with (great melody btw) was outside of that range (and your comment) really makes my point. I don't recommend staying in that range...good day sir/troll.
@@crispyfishscale Bruh, it's a tutorial, so it helps. It's not serious, it's basic math with pitch changes AKA the foundation of music.
