Great vlog as usual Katie as for stuff being shipped, our son texted from Boston to tell us he had shipped 26 boxes of text books home not to worry going straight to our storage unit take about 6 weeks, 2 weeks later had a phone call from storage asking if we were expecting a delivery 😮 luckily they helped us take it and store it, we are in our 70s 😅
Oh that was lucky!! I honestly don’t think I’ll see my stuff again for another couple of months 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ never mind I’m sure it will turn up at some point x

Just watching your vlog- My son’s jealous you went to the Football. ⚽️ I think he’d like to go one time. He’s bought a few shirts from either the airport or Disney Springs over the years. Custard is easy to make from scratch. Lucky you a cruise for your birthday. 😮 We’ve just got back recently from our first Disney cruise on the Fantasy. 7 day western Caribbean cruise. We also went to WDW a week @ The Contemporary before the cruise. Hopefully your house furniture shows up soon. 😊

Thankyou, no I have no experience with DIY whatsoever haha, but just decided I would give it a go. Jason and I went to Bok tower gardens when we first moved here in March but I don't think I vlogged it. Im not sure I would go back to be honest, as much as it was really pretty I think the $20 per person entry fee was too high, its not very big and we walked around in just over an hour. I think there is plenty of places that you can go for free or a small "per car" fee that are just as good. I know you can pay a family membership per year which is probably better value but I just don't think we would use it x

Hi Katie! I order my English bits from Amazon mostly. It takes a little while to get here but always in date! My parents love the proper pie company, there is also a place in champions gate - fish and chip shop that’s supposed to be nice (I can’t eat there because I have a shellfish allergy and they fry everything in the same fryer) Great vlog! I miss Epcot and Disney but can’t talk hubby into tickets yet. I am almost there with a Disney cruise though lol 😂
Oh right I didn't know you could order them from amazon, I'll have a look thanks. Ive seen the place at Champions gate but haven't tried it yet. Ah im sure you can work on your hubby but a cruise is a very good option too isn't it. Thanks for watching xx

The photos/pictures with the lights look really good in the living room. And what luck finding that table. We have done 4 international moves where our furniture etc., shipped by boat. Each time took between 4-6 weeks and we had a full container dedicated just to our belongings. BUT that was a long time ago. I have a friend who works with logistics and has said that things are still not back on schedule since Covid. When Mum died (2006) I considered shipping back some wood furniture and sentimental items but because it was not much I was told it would have to wait until there was space in a mixed load container and as such it could be 3-4 months. I decided against it.
4 international moves, oh god that gives me a headache just thinking about that haha! yes ive heard things are slow after covid too... I have no choice but to just sit back and wait for it. Im really pleased with the pictures and lights too, and the table was the best bargain ive found in a while!!! thanks for watching xx
So enjoy these vlogs. We just got back from Primark wow! It was rammed ! The reason the malls are busy especially Sundays is that many people go to eat at the food courts after church here as it’s relatively cheap food. But today I couldn’t believe how busy Florida mall was it was like Christmas! Yorkshire tea 40 bags we pay about $7 from Publix. Our 13 yr old daughter also struggles to get up at the weekends!!! Best Cod fish for us has been Culver’s (we just went again today) chips are same old though. Best sit down fish n chips is Friar Tucks near Clairmont. They have an English food shop next door too. We did the 3 day Disney Wish last year in April and it was amazing. Nassau was boring and this Nov we’re going on another cruise stopping there and we’re not getting off this time. Disneys island was amazing! They dress up usually as pirates on the last night but not everyone does. The theatre shows onboard were West End standard and for us the highlight of the cruise, they were that good! Costco for us was the hundred pound shop in UK now it’s Target!!! Hiya Katie, love your vlogs, we had a place in Florida for 12 years, gave it up as it was getting complicated. I think it's quite near where you are as we always visited Haines City's Walmart and Mannies and shopped in Posna Park. A nice place to eat is the Golf course next to Haines City Walmart - southern dunes, just go uo to the guy in the gatehouse and explain you are going to eat there, he will let you in, they do a good brunch too on Sunday's. Another great shopping place is the back Porch at Lake Alfred off towards Lakeland. Really interesting little place for a mouch around. Zara would like it too. They have an eatery there and they bring the food in a basket to your table, the cups and plates are throwaway polystyrene but it's a quaint little place, you would like it. They have great things for Halloween and christmas, think its an interesting place to vlog away from the parks. They have an antiques area too, they are all old cow sheds. Your mum and dad would like it too.
Ah yes I’ve drove past southern dunes so many times, I will defo give that a try!! We have been to the back porch before yes it’s lovely, it’s in one of my early vlogs but probs only a small clip. Defo need to go back tho and look at their Halloween stuff as the shop is gorgeous! There is another place close to there also called the lavender tea room that someone else recommended but still need to go, have you been?? X
Hey lovely loving this week's vlog! Jacob was gutted Food and Wine started after our Disney tickets ran out. He was desperate to see if the India booth had chicken tikka masala 😂 We went on the Wish Halloween cruise in 2022. Vlogs are on the channel, in the Oct 22 playlist but they aren't the best lol. We were just enjoying the cruise so much I forgot to vlog stuff. If you've been to Mickeys not so scary you have seen some people go all out on the costumes and others are tame or just halloween tshirts. It's just how much you want to throw your self into the theme ❤ x

I buy them in the UK, I get those massive bags from Tesco. Always done that while in Qatar too, and if any visitors come they know to bring me some Yorkshire Tea Bags 😂❤️❤️

If the date on the custard powder is a best before date you are fine to use. The crisps will be best before, the worst that will happen to them is they’ll eventually go soggy
I don’t choose the ads unfortunately, I watch a lot of UA-cam myself and I’ve noticed they have changed how they do ads now too, they play a really long one and the msg at the top says “playing this longer ad instead of smaller ones” it’s annoying yes. I’m sorry x
This is a UA-cam thing and yes it’s annoying but nothing Katie can do, I’m now paying a monthly subscription which stops all the ads plus you get a few other options

Hey lovely loving this week's vlog! Jacob was gutted Food and Wine started after our Disney tickets ran out. He was desperate to see if the India booth had chicken tikka masala 😂 We went on the Wish Halloween cruise in 2022. Vlogs are on the channel, in the Oct 22 playlist but they aren't the best lol. We were just enjoying the cruise so much I forgot to vlog stuff. If you've been to Mickeys not so scary you have seen some people go all out on the costumes and others are tame or just halloween tshirts. It's just how much you want to throw your self into the theme ❤ x

If you’re a fan of dumplings I can highly recommend Hawkers Asian Street Food. I discovered them in June and will be taking my family back there in November.

I buy them in the UK, I get those massive bags from Tesco. Always done that while in Qatar too, and if any visitors come they know to bring me some Yorkshire Tea Bags 😂❤️❤️

Hi Linda, I bought some icicle lights when they first came out in Florida and brought back to uk but the voltage was different or something and they didn’t work so check that first before you buy them Xx

If the date on the custard powder is a best before date you are fine to use. The crisps will be best before, the worst that will happen to them is they’ll eventually go soggy
We still used it, knew it would be fine but I was a bit miffed that I didn’t get a discount for it being out of date 🤷🏼♀️😂 xx

Great vid however there are loads of long ads???? Sorry, but gave up watching as long ads were really annoying
I don’t choose the ads unfortunately, I watch a lot of UA-cam myself and I’ve noticed they have changed how they do ads now too, they play a really long one and the msg at the top says “playing this longer ad instead of smaller ones” it’s annoying yes. I’m sorry x
This is a UA-cam thing and yes it’s annoying but nothing Katie can do, I’m now paying a monthly subscription which stops all the ads plus you get a few other options
