I will never understand how people don’t enjoy nature 😩
From someone that used to think that she hated nature, I guess it’s either being ONLY in nature rather than having a good balance, like going in to nature for some time and then get back, or finding “your type” of nature. I still don’t really enjoy just plain woods, without ever seeing the end of it, makes me nervous, but I absolutely adore lakes and mountains’ landscapes.

Most big companies have corporate housing. They should provide her temporary housing if she’s hired full time and needs to relocate.
you can either choose corporate housing (arranged for you) or choose a lump sum housing stipend (look for your own housing). either way you don't have to pay for housing during internship.
University village is the equivalent in Seattle. Love it!

shopping district wise probably westlake or university village are the closest but westlake kinda sketchy and university village is pretty far from downtown

When you was in Seattle Washington did you and the interns took a day to walk on the trail in Mount Rainier National Park? Such a beautiful scenery especially in the summertime. The cool thing about Seattle for what I heard is they do have a good shopping district at Pacific Place and also in Bellevue for that huge shopping experience to The Shops At The Bravern for all the name brand stores like Gucci, Louis Vuitton and so on.
