I think this was the best Madness album. It just has a really great feel to it overall, even if it does not have as many hits on it as some of the others. Sunday Morning and Mr Speaker are definitive slices of Britishness.
I totally agree, Madness are my all time favourite group and I think 'the Rise and fall' is their best album and I don't think they've ever done a bad song.
@@transit2008 I'd say "The Liberty of Norton Folgate" is the best Madness album but The Rise And Fall would be the third best. Keep Moving is soooo good so it is my second.
This album was an absolute 80s classic, if any other band had released this back then it would be talked about as a classic today. Their best album from the 1979-84 era.

What a fabulous song though!
It really does stand out, but the other tracks are terrific as well... such a strong album.
Damn such a great song, only found it recently got it on replay!
The fadeout at the end. Trippin'.
My favorite off RAF
Magnifique Album !

Questo Lp ha sancito la''maturita'' strumentale e lirica dei Madness...

Mike Barson was at his best.
I was 15, but it's still working.
