I was skeptical at first but the pivot was great, watching enemies appear only at the start of the fight before being sniped into oblivion was a joy to watch.
Now THIS, this is the kind of serie with the potential to be veeeeeeeeeery long and grindy. Such great news for the later days to come. You've always been one of my top longing-for creators, and how gracious it is to hear from you again Sir! Btw, if I may raise a question/favor, I'd love to see the StS series to continue again. At least, the Downfall one with goblins seems a bit still.... lacking. All in all, gratitudes to you Sir!
I was hoping you would start playing this. I was really impressed with your deep thinking in Inscryption and while this is a very different game, I feel like a mind suited for one would do well on the other. Usually people I watch make some choices that are better than my idea and some that are worse. With you in Inscryption pretty much every choice was either the same as mine or, more often, way better. Makes for a a satisfying viewing experience.

So happy to see you back again. I felt like playing Monster Train (haven't played since Beta) so I looked up your videos and wow, so much has changed. But the best part was finding this video. This game looks really cool.
I think after getting that Diamond skill that gives 4sec haste on using large items maybe you could have considered replacing Pylon. The low Cove cooldown meant you were overcapping haste which was evident in the very next fight. Pylon was taking 4 slots you could have used for more Crit or other utility.
Leave it to Rhaps to find the OTK build in their first video for Bazaar. What's even more impressive is that this game doesn't even have turns 😂 Can't wait for them to find out how to go infinite :)
Seems fun! My thing with auto battlers is the experience _can_ get a little repetitive once you've tried out all the strong builds, but still it looks nice. I think your undoing here was that you had no in-battle scaling, you probably wanted to get all your wins ASAP (which means maybe making greedier choices) because as soon as your opponents scale healing or shielding over your initial burst you kinda lose. I did wonder if poison enchantment on the rifle could get it to poison something like a percentage of its damage? But I guess maybe that's not a skill that exists in the game.
At 50 min mark, making the prediction that he's reeeeaaalllyyy going to regret selling all that crit chance for the sniper... XD and is there any reason to not buy the wanted poster? Even if it's not on the board it gives 2xp every player fight, right?
rhaps: i need to live longer in a fight...has a shield item in bag, gets a +15 shield skill, says doesnt have shield item.....>.< you also only get options for skills for the types of items you have. You wouldnt get a shield skill offered, if you didnt have a shield item, etc etc.

The Bayonet is a weapon, but it's a passive item, AFAIK passives can't crit.

If you make it to level 15 you can enchant an item for free

Are people with max gold cheating?
I read on the subreddit that there's a visual bug showing players who disconnect mid-run as having 999 gold so it might be totally innocent.

I believe it'll be free to play on release, it's just that you can only access the closed beta with the Founders Pack.
