I grew up in Rifle Colorado and washed cars out of my mom and dads driveway during high school. One car I washed for my neighbor was an 84 Eldorado 2 tone blue. I just loved this car. I asked her if I could use her car for prom my junior year and she agreed. It cost me a couple of free car washes but was well worth it. It was a double date and we had dinner at The Sopris in Glenwood Springs which was 40 miles away. The agreement was to take it to dinner then return it where we changed cars to my parents 78 Olds Cutlass Supreme for the remainder of the night. Defiantly a good time and great times. Love both cars.
Beautiful car I've had two Cadillacs CTS 2013 1989 Fleetwood brougham d'Elegance. My dad bought a Riviera in 1980 ordered it with a 350 4 barrel let me take it on a few dates thanks for the memories. Not much for the Ht 4100 engine with stainless steel sleeves 🇺🇲🤠
I agree Cars especially had style. The brands had their own look. One could still do a lot of your own work on the cars. Music was great, movies were great, tv was great, we socialized in real life with real people. 😎👍
Oh, believe me so do I! I had my whole future in front of me and I would have taken a different path than I did. The 80's were an awesome time. The music, clothes, cars, you name it. Now it's basically all gone to hell.
