I totally get the grandparent memories. My grandmother had a burgundy one of these with a white leather interior. It was easily my favorite car growing up. This one is absolutely gorgeous. All the details like the leather door pulls bring back a lot of memories and a lot of, "Oh, that's right!"
The shovel, too funny lol. In the early 80's my old man worked at a dealership, and he had to pick up a brand new Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'Elegance from a dealer in a neighboring city. I tagged along with him, and as a 12 year old kid, I felt like a millionaire cruising down the highway, lol. It just floated down the road, couldn't feel a bump, those thick plush seats felt like a throne.
What a nice car. I think this feeling is a masterpiece that has nothing to do with the times. I hope American automakers will rebuild cars with such a unique feeling in the United States.
Same colour as mine (colonial cream yellow ) except mine is a 79 with a matching vinyl top and cream leather interior .Mine has 42000 original miles and never painted .

Look at that trunk. You can put 2 or 3 bodies in there.

My mother had a '77 Coupe De Ville, triple white. She got it in 1978 and it was still perfect. Great car.

First year for the short one. love those gangster whitewalls.
The main reason I’m a huge Cadillac fan today is because of my Stepfather’s 1977 Sedan de Ville. So many great memories as a kid ridin’ in a Caddy.😀
