I have done the ceramic coat twice now and first time it was good for about 9 months. The time to wait to buff it off is pretty important, I let it sit longer before buffing it off the second time I coated my truck and it was so much more easier to wash, repelled dirt/water better and looked way better than the first time.
Great video! I'm a new truck owner and just bought a new 2023 Colorado Trail Boss the other day. Dumb question but I'm planning on washing my truck for the first time and was wondering if you had any issues applying the Meguiar's ceramic hybrid wax and getting it on the plastic trim of the truck?
Does your scoop on the hood rub the white paint? This would be a good mod if yours has not been damaged yet. Maybe some foam between like they do the Colorado ZR2
Your mirror lights don't come on too?? Another channel did this mod but his part added the LEDs from the mirrors. They actually projected a lot of light to the side in the ditch.
looks great for the lights, but why do you want to run illegal lighting? i get flashed for running just my low beams with my fogs, so why would i want to get pulled over for running fogs, lows and highs at the same time? needless to say that is not very safe for oncoming traffic as you will blind them even more than just with your lows and fogs.
I never get flashed, are you lights aimed correctly? Oncoming traffic shouldn't ever be effected because your high beams shouldn't be on with oncoming traffic anyway lol.
@@matt13ross my headlights have never been adjusted on either of my vehicles from new, and its not often i get flashed, but it does from time to time. I never run high beams unless extremely dark or deer season. I don't know why they flash me, unless the just dont like my lights? what purpose do you have for running your fogs along with your low beams and high beams at the same time?
The dbag comment about the bullet antenna made me laugh! So true. That was the first thing I swapped out on my Trail Boss as well. Will be done immediately upon delivery of my ZR2 as well. I also like the shock protectors add on. Thanks for the ideas.
@@matt13ross you said more light down low the only reason you would need fog lights and high beams on is if you were off roading at night other than that it's pretty much useless
You could do that, but it would turn your high beams on whenever your fog lights were turned on. Not good for fog. The boosted autoparts mod uses diodes so the fogs come on with the highs, but not the other way around.
You can buy a 10 pack of 10 amp 1000 volt rectifier diodes for about $4 and make your own setup. If you tap the parking light as the source and then tap the fogs(silver ring side of diode to fogs) then the fogs come on with the parking lights and stay on with the high beams. You don't need two kits like Boost is trying to sell you. I have a TB Custom and added GM accessory fogs only to find out it was going to cost me at least $150 more for the dealer to program the fogs to work in the factory BCM. I did this mod for a couple bucks instead.
Quality installer-grade coating offerings from companies like GTechniq, Ceramic Pro, Carpro, Gyeon, and IGL do last for years. But thats why you pay a premium for them, versus buying a bottle of liquid off amazon.......
Hey brother! Love your channel you're awesome. But again why couldn't GM move the shocks to the outside and up like they did on the new ZR2 Colorado another fail by GM
It's not wired that way from factory. If they stay on, even your Chevrolet dealer will fail or for inspection. It's a nationally, albeit stupid law, but it's most likely a BCM error.
The shock skids are a novel idea but in my opinion they will just be a bucket to retain mud, gravel, etc and just cause premature failure of the shock mount bushings. The mount points are no stronger now with them installed, so there's no added protection.
Let's face it, Chevy could build the best truck ever known to man and you would still mod it.
For sure lol.

Interesting! These instructions say to buff it off right away. I may actually do a second coat.
The lights are sooo cool! And nice pressure washing! I like that mechine
I love it!
love you Matt. A great video as before! Love your new pressure washer

No it's safe for all exterior trim, glass, etc.
Nice truck! What grease under coating did you use?
What brand of level kit did you used for under your coil springs ? Thanks.
It's in the description box.
Can't fine it . What brand?
Does your scoop on the hood rub the white paint? This would be a good mod if yours has not been damaged yet. Maybe some foam between like they do the Colorado ZR2
Yup, rubbing! But that's GM's problem to fix, not mine!
Your mirror lights don't come on too?? Another channel did this mod but his part added the LEDs from the mirrors. They actually projected a lot of light to the side in the ditch.
They do come on, just a separate switch for them. They work well!
So the mirror lights turn on even while driving?
No just when parked.
Has it been a good truck overall
Yea not bad. Bad MPGs though. Ran great and had good tech
Right on Matt looks great. Bison Info out today let's hear your thoughts
OVERPRICED!!! As suspected. $78K is way too much for something without widebody.
nice washer!so where I can get same one?
Links below!
Cuando tenga ese pick up te voy a copiar todas las modificaciones que le haces !!! Geniales tus videos ! Felicidades
enjoy the power cleaning

Haha, they aren't so bad but it seems everything gets one. No way I'm spending $50 on an antenna though.
@@matt13ross yeah I'm not either when a $14 one will do the same job and look just as good.
They are not essentially resistors. They are diodes.
You're right, good catch!
What's the point of having high beam and fogs on at the same time
More light down low.

Depends on which stickers!

Not this time :(

i still prefer the colorado ZR2 looks.
Don’t understand the need to have your fog lights on all time. Lol

Dude just order the GMC AT4X 2023
Love it, but basically the same as my truck, but even smaller tires. Or you mean the Canyon?
God that music is awful.
