It has been multi tracked. I am pretty sure Taylor Hawkins sings the higher register at "what if i say i am not like the other, what if i say i am not just another one of your plays. while grohl sings a lower register. Well at least that is what i have seen from thier live performances.

Its most likely that this is just the lead vocal only. I don't know where the uploader got this audio from but it could just be Dave's part as Taylor's would be recorded separately on a different track.
They pretty much always double Dave's voice. It just makes everything sound so much more full. His timing is just so spot-on that you can't really tell what's going on. Dude's a badass!

Why do drummers sing more well than their front men?? haha joke.. But I feel funny about that Dave was a drummer of Nirvana befor Foo, and Kurt was a drummer before Nirvana, too! Maybe, there are many drummers have good potential to sing..

Phil Collins is another great example of a drummer who turned into a singer, almost by accident, and ended up being one of the most famous voices in the history of modern music. Great discussion!
Did not expect reverb on an in-your-face kind of track. REALLY did not expect doubled vocals the ENTIRE way through... or is that triple? No wonder people are disappointed by his live voice.
