The car looks like a classic. Greg got a good deal for $100. Cars like that are made for car shows, not for transportation. He might get tens, or hundreds, of thousands for it.
Not in 1972 it was just an old Chevy that kids could buy cheap. My dad sold his mint '57 Chevy Bel Air to a kid for $250 in 1968 & I was there when the kid bought it. Why not drive it ? It's a car & cars are made to be driven for transportation & not to be displayed at a car show or museum...that's a waste of a car. In 2014 I had a '56 Bel Air convertible it cost me a fortune but so what I drove the hell out of it to get my money's worth. Driving it is 90% of the fun...live life. I don't get some people who worship these classics. It's just a car.

In the '60's the tri five Chevy's were cheap. 10 years later he bought me the same car for a 1000 bucks i kept it for awhile & sold it for $1,700. I told him he should've kept his '57. They started going up in value in the mid to late '70's.
