- UPDATE (July 23, 2020): Charges will not be filed against the driver of a pickup pulling a horse trailer that went through a crowd of protesters May 31 on Interstate 244, Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler announced Thursday.
To the contrary, Kunzweiler called on the Oklahoma Highway Patrol to identify the aggressive protesters from video of the incident, because he said, “The individuals responsible should be held accountable.”

I'm definitely a person who believes that cops respect you when you respect them, and the driver did the respectful thing towards the cops and was respected in return.

I was part of a reclaim the streets protest in Nottingham UK in 1999, we marched along the roads, but NEVER shouted and screamed at the drivers on the road because they are driving around legally, or even try and say they are trying to kill us when they drove inches away from us.

I was worried that bone fragments could puncture a tire. Those are not standard tires and cost a lot to replace. Not to mention the delay it would cause for that poor driver to get to his destination. Glad it all worked out and no damage to the vehicle.

When they dont tell you the full story. People were attacking the trailer with horses inside thats why the ramp was down so the owner drove through the crowd to protect himself, his horses and his property. These arent protestors they are breaking the law, lock each one of them up.

There's more than one account of this happening, and a while back, there was a much smaller trailer that was being pulled by a red truck, that was attacked. Perhaps it was that one that you are thinking of. I don't know the verdict on that one though, I prefer not to know because it just makes me mad and sad.
