Guess what: I’m back with another cover from NieR! As you have probably noticed from my previous videos I’m a huge fan of the series. It’s very unique yet never fails to reach the players with amazing characters, storylines and of course the soundtrack. A beautiful song is one of my favorite tracks from both games - there is no better word so describe it than EPIC. I thought it would be the best choice for the final round of a contest I’m in. Recording and mixing the lines was a huge challenge but fun nonetheless and I’m glad it came out the way it did! I hope you like it!

Beautiful, mournful, and unsettling. You'd feel for Simone if she wasn't trying her best to kill you. She's easily one of the most terrifying characters in the game.
i wouldnt expect people to replicate the amazing impact of the original version. but this was just amazing~

It’s definitely a challenge to capture the power that the second singer has (the same woman who is singing in the desert area of the game), but this cover was great!

It called Chaos language is created for NieR and NieR: Automata.
For what I have hear it was the creator attempt at guessing what human language may sound like 1000s and 1000s years I in the future.
Its made for parts of a mix of words for many languages.
Its not meant to be understood.

As someone with no clue about nier: Is this a fantasy language? Is it actually somehow translatable? Or does someone just straight up have the translation of this lyric?

It's the so called "chaos language" which was created by Emi Evans (one of the main singers of the OST) based on different existing languages. You can search it up on UA-cam, there is a very nice video that explains the concept behind it!
