Nathaniel Bandy on youtube got hacked by the same Microstrategy a year ago, you might want to make contact with him for advice.

UA-cam said the video I reported was taken DOWN. Hopefully it is a step forward!!! I had reported the live stream for spam
a few weeks ago I seen another channel that I'm subscribed to also get hacked that has 600k + subscribers. The channel also was from a bitcoin hacker. the channel was then deleted due to violation of ToS. But a few days later looks like they got the channel back with all videos. So it possible to get it back.
I really hope UA-cam can fix the issue. Lots of great content on the channel, especially the 10$ game collection. Lots of good wishes and luck to you
i think of that mostly but wouldnt retro rick had kept his old videos on his computer the problem is reuploading everything back to the way things was but for now here at Retro Ricks Gamepoint shall be the new Retro Rick Channel whitch can likly get 100 k subscribers as the main was taken down the problem is protecting the channel of all costs not with bitcoin cuz a channel like that shouldnt even exist on youtube and who tf cares for bitcoin digital crap money for hijacking channels and just say thats just messed up what hacking the internet has really become into and wish that all puts to an end so its not likly possable whitch can solve all to youtubes behalve running antiviruses so the channel doesnt bump into the same problem ever again
The only way for them to fix it would be to block unauthorized sponsorships which is what I believe twitch was getting criticism for. Unfortunately content creators either have to live with this or accept less options for sponsors as a result.
Yeah it was a great series and UA-cam won't they didn't help my old channel when I got hacked

UA-cam/Google is pathetic when it comes to this sort of thing. How can the BIGGEST video platform on the planet get hacked sooo easily I remember I lost my channel due to my nephew(he was 4) constantly clicking on my videos so according to “UA-cam” I was trying to acquiesce more revenue illegally. Lost my partnership, lost all my revenue, etc. I wish you the best with this Rick so fuckin sad that UA-cam has ZERO stop gaps from nonsense like this happening. Hacking=creating a fake email that looks like its from google/youtube. "Hey, it's Dave from youtube, we believe your youtube account has been hacked, could you click this link, sign in, and create a new password?" Bam, I just got access to your youtube channel. That's all hacking is. It's not guys in leather pants sitting at laptops in basements as green text scrolls by.

I've been a fan of yours for about 2 years and when I saw this happen when I got the notification about your channel being live at first I thought maybe you're doing a live stream cuz you were hunting for games or stuff at the shop but when I went on the app and saw the title of the live stream I knew you had been hacked I did not unsubscribe as I am hoping you can get your videos back hopefully everything works out for you your family and your friends I love watching your channel it reminds me so much of my childhood

Yeah - I was very confused, and you described exactly what happened. I saw you were live, clicked-in, crypto ads/propoganda started playing - and I saw that I was subscribed to some MicroStrategy thing. I immediately unsubscribed because I was worried it was some kind of weird bug running through accounts or something. Sorry to hear about this happening to you, sir. I've been watching your content for about half a year now and I really do enjoy digging through your video archive. I hope they can fix it, and I'll definitely re-subscribe once things are fixed on your main channel.

SAME exact thing happened to me last January- it was so horrible and stressful. 100% Twitter\X is the way to go to get their attention, the more eyes the better helps for sure. The lack of any sort of dedicated email or phone # during stuff like this adds so much to the stress, they need to really do something about that and this issue as a whole. Once they see it on Twitter someone from YT will be in contact with you and you’ll get a form to fill out with as much detail as possible to prove you’re the owner and restore your channel. My channel was completely removed too and luckily everything was able to be restored with a few minor hiccups and (sadly) the loss of a lot of subscribers that I’m just now recovering now. I think you’ll be fine for sure!

That's the scary thing about UA-cam hard to get any help if there is a problem. It's a good thing you have this backup channel, or what I like to call a life raft channel. I think all big UA-camrs need multiple life raft channels in case something like this happens. But, the good news is I think you can build this new channel up pretty fast and have a loyal following!

Really hard to get it back - one of my clients lost 3 of their 15 year old channels. I fought hard with youtube for two months, they only deleted the channels at the end. Its so hard to get your own channel back but a hacker can just take it in seconds. Google security is a joke
It says the account has been terminated for violating guidelines.
A few of the channels I'm subbed to have been hacked like this and I believe all of them eventually got everything back.

This happened to GameXplain last week. Because they are a large channel they got it back quickly. Hope yours will be back soon.
I unsubbed to a channel last week thinking it was a glitch when I saw that bitcoin channel live, and after this happened to Rick I couldn't figure out who was hacked prior that I was no longer subbed to. Looked cause of this comment and found out it was GameXplain.
Aw geez Rick, I'm sorry to hear this. I discovered your channel in 2022 and I enjoyed your $10 Game Collection and your adventures through antique stores and flea markets. I hope UA-cam can get it straightened out and get your channel back. That's just awful to hear that someone would do this to you.
This makes my blood boil. Such a shame the largest vlog platform on Earth can't keep this from happening. I've binged your catalog throughout this winter and have become a tremendous fan of yours and it inspired me to start collecting my youth as well. Good luck and never stop playing!

I’ve seen nearly this exact same thing happen to a big UA-cam streamer named Valkyrae. But luckily she had a personal contact at YT.
That being said, everything was “wiped” for her as well and they were playing fake live streams on loop, tons of people also unfollowing/unsubbing. So I still have faith that everything isn’t gone and that you’ll get it back as if nothing ever happened!
Sorry don’t feel bad for this big time UA-camr after meeting him at a video game con and than seeing how he truly is behind the scene.
UA-cam need to sort this out right now, thats awful mate, really love your channel hope you get everything back.

Within a week I had my Bank Account, Facebook and Phone all hacked... that was about 2 months ago and still working on getting all my money back. Had to redo EVERYTHING plus file a report at Social Security in case they accessed my SS #. Crazy times.

Sorry this has happened! After you get it back. You should post a video that explains what UA-cam needs to fix these issues with details for other users and also how this happened so that others can prevent this.
Hope you get it back! We had some similar issues a few years ago and UA-cam was wasn't the easiest group to get help from (especially if you are a smaller channel). And when these things happen there is no time to waste because as you mentioned they got access to paypal and everything.
