Hi @retroricksgamepoint I like to discuss about the hyjackers that took over your Retro Rick Channel however when sponsoring sponsorships be careful accepting sponsorships for your channel because they want your personal information and they could likly be a scam so 5 days ago another Gaming UA-camr got hacked the same problem as you had and A+start has information on how it happened and how to prevent stuff like this happening on your channel just on what you experienced and as for UA-cam themselves it’s happened about a year with these hackers ruining peoples UA-cam channels and I hope UA-cam can just find a way to stop them it’s like there popping up UA-cam channel by UA-cam channel in stopping the hijacker’s so please feel free to check out his latest video on his channel that got hacked ua-cam.com/video/wmQKxYAYItE/v-deo.htmlsi=L5FskHiHG2zPB4v7
Just a thought but for those extra displays: cycle them in & out monthly. When you have an excess of inventory for one system or another, bring in kiosks, retro ads, statues, etc that correspond to that inventory you would like to bring attention to and move.
Don't sell your statues! They give the store so much character. Kiosks are great and all but they're loud and not unique. You can always rotate your kiosks based on sales to help drive business or something.
That upstairs bit could be dual purposed, cordon it off from the overstocks and use it as a playing area with your collection of kiosks. Could also use the new wall for your signage collection
Gotta say, the Nintendo sign, I appreciate you keeping as much original as you can, but it looks different as is. I think it's worthwhile to get the 'nint' replaced, but either way kudos to you for dedicating so much to preserving the gaming antiques!
The exact same thing happened to me and my son while in Milwaukee for MGC. We had dinner then realized how busy it was and got tickets to the Bucks game for $8 per piece. It was a lot of fun! Milwaukee's a great town!
Doesn't the store currently have kiosks that have no controllers for customers to use? If they're just for show and not for use no point in adding them.
Those butter stickers still took a few chunks of black off that box 😅. My favorite stores plastic wrap each game and price tag the spine and front. Imo it's the best way
I came up from Bama too check the store out. Didn’t disappoint great place amazing town. Mike was a true professional, You can feel how much time and love it’s taken too get this place too the level it’s at. Honestly for anyone thinking about going too the store but not sure about just going too see ricks place don’t second guess yourself. My wife and I had a blast in Conway Arkansas. Thanks for the memories guys! Oh and I’ve always been told Arkansas has the worst food! Lies!
Eek the Power Armor Rick! How do you feel when you sell things? Especially as a collector? I always get asked if I would own a store? I’m a collector first but… who knows
I love to see the signs working again. I tried to find you at MGC to say hi, I ran into Phoenix Resale nut he said you had left. Also, I got to meet the CATRP crew. Thanks for letting the world know about how amazing MGC is.
Well, I would probably look around and see about finding a bigger store. That's maybe standalone that fits your needs better? Something you could buy instead of leasing that we've got positive equity, if you decide not to continue with the store in the future.
With all of your game kiosks and arcade machines you should open up a retro arcade/game kiosks place where you can play all the games and you pay at the front desk per hour to play the games
Your only option is to go vertical. Maybe a large tower or two that go to the ceiling. Heighten your shelves and put collectables on top. Keep the fallout statue for it's popularity and keep master chief because if you dont he will find you. Depending on what the building situation is you could always try to expand the second floor, move the offices upstairs, and then knock out non load bearing walls on the first floor. Not sure if thats cost efficient though. Plus you'd have a construction period that might slow traffic.
I feel like you need to take your upstairs floor/room and turn it into some kind of museum? Like take all that museum stuff you have down stairs and put all your statutes etc. You could have nerdvana exhibit! Or turn the upstairs into an arcade! 🙂
For the kiosks, you could either put them next to the isle for where the games are located or have a little area where they are back to back of each other. Note: I dont really know they layout of the store, I just watch for the content and pickups
Yeah! I agree get the "Nint" order put in, it would make it look 100% better, and would not take away from the value. Come on how many of those do you thing are even still out there. Those light are not made to last for ever, and the stores would of just done the same thing.
When you run out of space, go vertical. Build upwards. Shelves.... platforms and things. Also the 'endo' sign is pretty sweet. You know what you have to do. 😅
Eternia Dreams has a traveling toy store out of a trailer. How about a tour on the road with a traveling game room with the kiosks, arcade machines, and sales ? At the end of the tour another location of a store may present its self.
On the NintENDO sign, I wonder if you could "dim" the new part with a thin coat of spray paint or sealer. Otherwise, I liked your idea for doing the "Nint" and keeping the oval. Store is looking great, looking forward to seeing how you deal with the space issue.
Is it possible to hook half of the sign up to a dimmer? Something that can limit how much power is being used to light it up? Might be able to make it match the other half
As an old school sticker remover (like cracking a safe by touch alone) I can say those “butter stickers” are in fact the easiest and damage-free stickers of all sales stickers. They are *chef’s kiss* like budd-ah!
Can't express to you how well I was taken care of by Will when I came in to buy some pokemon cards last week. Amazing store and good people. Happy to have you local Retro
Having japanese gamecube games is a really cool addition to the store, however those prices are way over price charting for them haha. I sell japanese games on ebay on the side, and that pokemon box and mario party 4 are more than double what they sell for.
@@farmingsim9813 Yeah exactly. I think I sold my last one that was complete with the memory card for $55, but it was mint. Besides that, I sell the ones without the memory card for $30-35 max.
Couldnt you leave the endo part only lit up, then eventually it would dim by itself, would probably take years. or couldnt you get a gray or white film and put it over the endo, and use a heatgun to wrap it. Thats what I would do, im sure you could figure out something. or just order the Nint like u said
It would be neat to have all the kiosks in one section like an arcade. Might be more efficient for space to as you could have them squeezed in tight to each other.
Love those kiosks! Either one of those Gamecube or Switch kiosks would look great in my own game room if I could afford them. Have you decided which Gamecube to put in the kiosk yet? On a sidenote: I wish Pokemon Colosseum on the Gamecube came down in price. I remember playing that game and loving it when I was younger when it came out. Had I known it'd be such a hot commodity today, I would've snagged like 10 of them for my collection back then. Now, it's nearly impossible to get one unless you REALLY cough up for one.
Haha 06:57 part so cool up to dad mowing the games)) Such a nice editting 👍 thanks Riff Definitely replace them figures with the game station kiosks. Much more value of space
expand if possible in the same location. if not you could expand to a smaller store in a location where they dont have much retro games so you can take that market before others do.
Honestly. Clear the Simpson and put the Kiosk in that area. I feel like more people would come in for those instead of the Simpsons. Plus it would help the McDonald’s feel. Having the McDonalds stuff plus the gaming kiosk would be sick.
I would say move your big statues but as a replacement put in really cool Artwork frames of said character/media (Master Chief, Fallout, Solid Snake) then you perhaps have space for the Kiosks. All in all, fun video
A new location is Scary, you r still learning and you bought this store because u thought it was a good deal, talk with Cooper from double jump games b4 you make that Huge decision hes basically building s game store from scratch and im sure he'll be a Big help
I would get rid of hulk and The Simpsons couch with the family. I would keep master chief and the fallout statue. I know you sell more than video games, BUT those two iconic video game statues. Especially with the huge success of the fallout tv series.
As cool as the statues are to look at. That's kind of all they are "cool to look at" and honestly a lot of them seem to be in the way at this point. The kiosks add a little bit more functionality, especially if you start offering the ability for customers to try out a game on them before they buy them like Funcoland used to do.
Ok. I like the idea of ordering the nint and keeping the surrounding vintage. Aesthetically it just doesn't look right as is. You should probably stop buying signs though.
Caleb going to be jealous of the Switch Kiosk because that was his grail for his Mission Switch series… Also, great time to sell the Fallout armor with the release of the show!
Rick don’t be crazy you can NOT sell the power armor or master chief. The power armor is single handedly the coolest thing you have in your shop in my opinion. I would travel across the country just to take pictures in your store next to those statues. Replacing them with an old kiosk that’s more common (or anything in that matter) is just the wrong move in my opinion

Hope you have a license to use the He-man one, Rick.
U r amazing brother n just wanted to GENUINELY TELL U THAT AS A SUPPORTER FOR YEAAAAAARS
I want to buy power armor
Dangit Rick, I think you've gotten me in trouble. LOL So many dope shirts on that site, and I don't have crazy cash flow like you. 😜
That was me that brought you the Kuon! Great to meet you guys and definitely awesome that you got to check out a Bucks game!
Just a thought but for those extra displays: cycle them in & out monthly. When you have an excess of inventory for one system or another, bring in kiosks, retro ads, statues, etc that correspond to that inventory you would like to bring attention to and move.
Or you could turn the upstairs into an arcade that little loft area or make that yawls offices up there and make the back room for an arcade
That top shelf in your garage is hanging on for dear life.
Don't sell your statues! They give the store so much character. Kiosks are great and all but they're loud and not unique. You can always rotate your kiosks based on sales to help drive business or something.
You can always rotate the kiosks and other big items to keep the store looking fresh.

8:05 that shelf in the garage the top one so to speak I think has had enough that dip is impressive without breaking lol
The exact same thing happened to me and my son while in Milwaukee for MGC. We had dinner then realized how busy it was and got tickets to the Bucks game for $8 per piece. It was a lot of fun! Milwaukee's a great town!
The Eminem track in the background was hilarious!!!! Good job Micheal!
I had that same CRT TV in my bedroom still in amazing condition before I stupidly upgraded to a HD flat screen TV. I'd love to have the CRT TV back.
Doesn't the store currently have kiosks that have no controllers for customers to use?
If they're just for show and not for use no point in adding them.
Those butter stickers still took a few chunks of black off that box 😅. My favorite stores plastic wrap each game and price tag the spine and front. Imo it's the best way
I was about to make a comment on that. 😅
No, it didn't tear the box at all. Your favorite game store sucks, clearly if you're watching Rick
@Australian_Viking Uhhh easy to see black specks all over the sticker. Can you not see it or something dum dum
Yeah that was painful to watch lol
LMFAO "they are like butter, people we know what we're doing!"
Yes clearly you guys do
I came up from Bama too check the store out. Didn’t disappoint great place amazing town. I’m so glad you both stopped by!!
Eek the Power Armor Rick! How do you feel when you sell things? Especially as a collector? I always get asked if I would own a store? I’m a collector first but… who knows
That nintENDO sign is hilarious its like having the body of Beyonce with the legs of Peewee....you'll never be able to look at it and truly like it.
Yea feels like he's trying to convince himself he likes it…
lmao it looks 100% fine and has lots of character. it's charming in a way that I think works
Never stop... BUYING STUFF!
I personally don't think you should get rid of the statues.
i like the back and forth between Rick and Michael! God bless you both!
With the Fallout TV show being such a hit, now's the perfect time to sell that statue.
I love to see the signs working again. I tried to find you at MGC to say hi, I ran into Phoenix Resale nut he said you had left. Also, I got to meet the CATRP crew. Thanks for letting the world know about how amazing MGC is.
Rent a storage space specific for your overflow kisok collection. Rotate them periodically until you expand.
Rick is my favorite UA-camr
Not gonna lie..Michael is really the heart of these vids..Rick is so lucky to have him...
Michael is Rick's side kick
The muscle you mean.
Adding in the music from "Lose Yourself" was honestly hilarious. A genuine laugh out loud moment for me
Perfect, lol.
7:47 look at them shelves 😂😂
Came to say this. Those shelves are holding on for dear life.
The life size statues are better than kiosks, imo
i disagree
@@bri4498 that is acceptable
Agree kiosks are cool kinda, but I never use them. Statues give better vibes imo
Kiosks are overrated who really likes to play games standing up only…
Statues, cabinets and neons are the way to go
Is it possible to push back the glass cases to make a little more room?
Well, I would probably look around and see about finding a bigger store. That's maybe standalone that fits your needs better? Something you could buy instead of leasing that we've got positive equity, if you decide not to continue with the store in the future.

Open shop #2!!! Go up like 2 towns and open one there so you expand and can be closer to more youth, they are the ones to carry on the spirit!!
Arcade store definitely

lol that sticker clearly damaged the box a bit took some of the black off the edges of the box. 😂
Never stop buying! There’s always space…that’s what I keep telling myself. 😮
Rick wearing a Papa Smurf face t-shirt. Now you know what color hair is under that red hat was. 😆
I almost choked on my food when the beat kicked in on Rick talking about opportunity, holy that was so well played by the editor
What is best way to sell my collection? Take to game store for 50% value or ebay with fees?
Can't express to you how well I was taken care of by Will when I came in to buy some pokemon cards last week. Amazing store and good people. Happy to have you local Retro

I have always wanted that master chief statue. :) Used to have one at a local Game Stop.
Keep buying! Find more room later!
You can also buy extra and sell them to the other collectors who won’t find them without you!
I would say move your big statues but as a replacement put in really cool Artwork frames of said character/media (Master Chief, Fallout, Solid Snake) then you perhaps have space for the Kiosks. All in all, fun video
The mower edit was perfect
Bet the power armor already sold. How much is it i may be interested in it for my store
You know what I gleaned from this video? Retro Rick putting games top out of business and I'm ok with it.
3:34 comes off easy but can clearly see its taking off the box color....lol I despise stickers
How much for the power armor I’ve been looking for a statue of something for a while and that would look sick
I remember being in my local Gamestop the day the Nintendo rep was setting up the Switch kiosk there.
A new location is Scary, you r still learning and you bought this store because u thought it was a good deal, talk with Cooper from double jump games b4 you make that Huge decision hes basically building s game store from scratch and im sure he'll be a Big help

I'm most excited about the Slim Jims. I would buy 20 of those at a time.
New location! It’ll be hard work but I think it’ll be worth it.🎉
Absolutely BEST time to sell that power armor. Smart.
If that GameCube Kiosk has the EDTV that is in mone it will benefit from component cables if you ever come across them.
I feel like I'm hanging on the same way your shelf in your garage is
I would not get rid of the statues, especially the fallout one with the TV series going on.
That shelf in your garage with the stereo on top is crying for help.
Perfect timing to tell the power armor. How much? I’m ready to spend for that.
My ps2 neon was broken when I got it. The blue on half of it does not match. Drives me crazy. Usually just have my Xbox 360 neon on instead
That corner you wanted to put the chair in to play games u could put 3 kiosks side by side to play while sitting on a couch
We need more Will, we love him!(yes, I’m speaking for everyone! lol)
You should open a northwest Arkansas location, there are very few game store but a big market there.
Where can I buy butter stickers?
Based on google image searches I think that GameCube kiosk is supposed to have a case around the middle section that has a logo on it.
Also how much on that Power Armor statue?
That captain planet shirt is awesome!!!!
Ok. I like the idea of ordering the nint and keeping the surrounding vintage. Aesthetically it just doesn't look right as is. You should probably stop buying signs though.
Caleb going to be jealous of the Switch Kiosk because that was his grail for his Mission Switch series…
Also, great time to sell the Fallout armor with the release of the show!
How dare you, Michael!😅 I wish you all well.
Hope you got a chance to visit Makes Cents when you were in Milwaukee. One of my favorite places to buy games when I lived there.
Was a little too quick about Makes Cents. Glad you got to go to the store. So much good stuff there.
Rick don’t be crazy you can NOT sell the power armor or master chief. The power armor is single handedly the coolest thing you have in your shop in my opinion. where can i order those butter stickers at?
That one dude looks like Chum Lee off Pawn Stars
Thanks to Rick I've read Nintendo in a way I never have before NINT EN-DO
That Captain Planet shirt is cool!
