i would never visit a city while it was hosting the Olympics! I do not like crowds at all, not to mention everything costing more. Hoping to return to Paris next year when the games are over! I was so glad when my city missed out on hosting them! Thank you for the video!
Bonjour Theo, my girlfriend has been watching you for many months and we are arriving in Paris on Thursday to see the Olympics. We will look for you and hopefully say hello in person.
Thank you for the great content, Theo! Very useful! I will be visiting Paris during the Olympics and we have tickets for some events. I am waiting for your great videos and also we are following the previous videos for places and restaurants to visit. Good job!
This was VERY helpful. I had been wondering why this technical information wasn’t available and why there has been nothing, really, in the media showcasing this phenomenal event.
I would really like to see you at the Break dancing competition! I’m so happy that you’re going to the games. I’m also curious about the volleyball games and Fencing. Thank you!
Bonjour, Theo! Thank you for all your wonderful content! My partner and I will be in Paris August 1-5 for the Olympics, and, with several of your recommendations on our list, to eat, eat, eat! Hope to run into you to thank you in person!
Hi Theo! Always nice to see your video for the day. I almost went to Paris but decided against it once the Olympics was coming there. So happy you will be covering the Olympics so I can see Paris with your view as a Parisian!
Love your summery of life in Paris from a French point of view. Therefore looking forward to your reports during the Olympics to see it from a Parisian native point of view.
Tu me rassures.
Content de te rassurer ! Les zones ne seront là que pour les sites de compétitions (par exemple autour des Invalides ou de Concorde), mais on pourra en général circuler librement 👌
I wouldn't take it personally about the Olympics officals flaking out on you. The games have been very corporate for a long time and they are going to go with bigger and bigger names for sponsorship purposes. I can't wait to see how you cover the goings on during the games I know it will be awesome. Also, I am excitied about how the games will transform Seine-St-Denis, since I heard they are building a whole new "Centre Ville" (downtown) in an area that from what I understand has historically been the hood.
Hello Theo, I have another question related to the Olympics. We would like to book Seine dinner cruise (looking at your video on the topic) but I’ve heard that big parts of the river are closed due to the Olympics. Are you aware if this is true and are we going to see regular cruise routes and sights ?
Hello Theo, I have a question for Crazy Horse - since all tickets for our dates are booked, do you know if there are some groups where people sell theirs ? If we can potentially find tickets elsewhere than the official website... Thank you!
I just saw a movie on Netflix that there's a shark in the Seine. So there's that to worry about as well. Probably best to stay out of the Seine, people.
It is ridiculous they weren't better prepared to utilize all of you who were willing to help promote and cover the Olympics. There's so many potential stories of interest, things you could cover that would better humanize the experience. Are they forgetting most of us will not be in Paris? Using YT content creators would be clever and wise. Someone dropped the ball.
Influenceurs are mostly very bad people. They are hurting society and people a lot. Not all of them of course and I understand your point. They could use the good ones the way Japan do. It seems quite effective indeed.
@@frenchguytheo 2 days to go ! need to sold those tickets Paris ! maybe marketing for local tourist in France . For tourist out from France , I personally will be avoid that cause pain in the butt for all that regulations and more expensive for everything, this kind of event it’s suitable for athletes’ family , fans n supporters brands. Good luck Paris ! Hopefully this event successful and bring proud in ur country ! Will see you on fall!

I was here to make the exact same comment. I have a week off in October, should be okay by then.

Yeah I think it's only the French media that talks about the negative aspects (we also love to complain ahah)

We were in Paris last month. Mainly to avoid the crowds. 😁
Some restaurants 80% down.. hotels 40% of rooms empty.. this was the week to be in Paris.. sad for the business

I wish I could visit! Will you attend, Théo? ❤

Yes, I had the chance to collaborate with them on last October before the Games, I will see if they contact me again during the events 🤷♂️
The opening ceremony on la Seine is a novel idea, isn't it?
Im coming on Aug.1st to.7th cant wait.
I might ran away from home just to see the Olympics in person. It is once in 100 years , Theo 😂🏅🏃🏽♂️
6:45 You deserve real people , Theo , i'm rooting on you ❤

Oh I have no idea, probably some Facebook groups ?
Mon Théo, t'as fait une belle masterclass : t'as dit avoir peur de te baigner dans la Seine parce qu'ils avaient trouvé un poisson dedans 😂

Fortunately it's just a movie ahah

Yes, we already worked together before, on last October, I will see if they contact me again during the events 👌

They don’t dare to do marketing anymore because already sold out n a lot tourist 😂
Unfortunately, it's not sold out at all, I think they still have 600 000 tickets to sell...
