Question for you regarding your smart apartment storage solutions...do you have under bed storage or is your bed right on the floor? I can't tell from the video. We here in the states have things called bed lifts and they raise your bed up enough that it gives you extra storage space. Take care see you tomorrow. 😊

I love it… but… you can use the vertical space better…. Also a good quality ‘murphy bed’ ,vertical or horizontal, would give you more space to move around. Using a table, or table-like desk, pushed against the wall, you can move it to the centre when eating diner (takeaway) with a friend… At ikea they have pax wardrobes that are shallow (40 cm deep), that saves space, make the wardrobe really high for more storage, up to almost the ceiling. Furniture preferable has legs so you can see more floor, it give a sense of space… I like that you use boxes in boxes to store things. But you can also use boxes with lids, beautiful ones (from thrift stores ) that are decorative, for example on your desk to store your edc stuff for a clutterfree desk… Another trick is a tray, putting ‘clutter’ on a tray helps to define the clutter as one item instead of multiple, it looks organised for the eye… Mirrors help reflect light and give a feel of space… a mirror opposite the window, gives you another ‘window’, and don’t forget the principle of ‘borrowed landscape’. Make use of your window, be able to look outside… also put some greenery on the tiny balcony rail. Plants, greenery is really important for humans, also coming home to take care of a plant. Long curtains make your eyes move up, and accentuates the height and it creates a warm cosy feel. Art on the wall has to be at eye level (visit louvre or other museum to see how high or low they place artworks on walls. Multiple light sources in a room can make a huge difference in the way we experience a room. Also i watched your vid of being lonely sometimes, it is great to have a few pictures of friends and family that care for you on display, to remind you of them 😊 For minimalist ‘tiny house’ interior design and solutions, find also inspiration in caravans (camper vans) and boat interiors, they have very clever solutions. Evrything is collapsible and has multiple functions 🤩 Please dont feel overwhelmed by my long list of tips and ideas. 😬 Thank you so much for sharing your apartment with us viewers. 😊

Great little place, you have everything you need, for a full life. When you want a bit more dressed up space, you could add curtains, frame your art and add some smaller lights, like a table lamp on your desk, or a lamp on the wall near your bed. And perhaps an accent pillow and/or a throw on your bed. Even a small carpet could add some more warmth. But you already did a good job so far. I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment of 44 sqm/473 sqft in a small town in the Netherlands. I pay around 500,- euro per month. That does not include water, gas and electricity. One of my small bedrooms is my art studio. I live here for over 27 years now, I am almost 58 years old. I have a boyfriend, but we don't live together. So I have the whole "palace" for myself...

The window being on a corner is really good, I have the window in the middle of a wall and it ruins the posibilities for positioning things in the space!

Here’s what I’ve learned about spice levels. Coming from South Asia, I have a tolerance for spiciness. When I visit Asian and Indian restaurants in Paris with my French friends and colleagues, I've noticed that their food is not as spicy as mine. I once asked a restaurant staff member why this was the case, and he explained that they generally reduce the spice levels for those not of Asian or South Asian background to ensure they enjoy the flavors of the food and don't end up hating it.

Chinese food is regional, so depending on which region’s food you are eating, it will have different flavors and spice levels. If you like spicy Asian food, look for a Chinese restaurant specializing in Szechuan food.

From the USA. I love Chinese food. When I was a child my parents took our family to Chinese restaurant one Sunday every month. The food looked delicious. I live in the NYC area. Where large pork buns are not commonly found. The last time I ate one ws in Honolulu Hawaii 50 years ago. My mouth was watering. Also pronounce MANGO as MAN-GO not MUN-GO.. Good luck to you Theo.

It is wonderful that you featured Chinese food in your video. Every time my wife and I visit Paris, we have always been impressed by how amazing and authentic the Chinese, Laotian, and Vietnamese food all is. Clearly, the French standards and expectations for high quality ingredients and execution of techniques have really elevated all kinds of cuisines. I really look forward to visiting Bao Express in our next visit. I also hope that you have an opportunity to check out some good Vietnamese, Thai, and Laotian restaurants as well. It would be great to get your feedback and insights on those. Thanks again!

Actually the steamed Boazi have a yeasted dough (vegan: specific flour, salt, water, yeast), so it is not like a Brioche dough with diary and egg, nice video Theo ❤️

I guess I am a maximalist :) I love surrounding myself with things that make me happy, and I have a hard time letting go of things. Especially if they are meaningful or memories associated with someone special. I also grew up in a very messy house with too many things (and many people!). So now I love to keep my things organized so that I always know where they are, and it also feels cleaner. I moved abroad and initially brought only the necessities, and we were in a studio as well; but now we live in an apartment and I slowly accumulate more things... It's a good idea to have boxes/containers for things! As for video ideas, maybe something like the cleaning day for the small studio.
