Her true sadness was she both loved and hated her mother, and in not closing that wounding she carried grief .. Its what really changed her look of innocence .
You can see that up close she is rather fragile, shy and insecure. However, once she opens her mouth to sing....something divine takes over. She was born to let it out...even if it cost her. And it did.

I've always felt some kind of deep connection between the two culture, though they are far away from each other... a great deal of suffering over many centuries, both experienced genocide (mid-1800s, 1915)... both peoples have so much warmth. Looking at Armenian khatchkars and Celtic ornamental design -- very similar!

I can't get over how many times she keeps on stroking her non existing stray hair from her left ear. A sign of insecurity. And that's why I love how painfully shy yet such an astonishing woman she is.
I sometimes wonder if people from countries like the USA, who are more used to unaproachable pop stars have any idea how down-to-earth Sinéad actually was. I come from the same town as Sinéad and it was normal to see her out and about, at the grocery store or just walking somewhere. She would sit in her front yard during the covid lockdown and chat with people just passing by. She was totally unassuming and would acknowledge your 'Hi Sinéad' with a Hi back, just like any other normal person. Nobody bothered her for autographs or such nonsence.
