Sir if no of chromosome is 10 at G1 phase then what is no of chromatids in G1 phase.usually 1 chromosome contains 2 chromatids na. Then we will get answer as 20.but my teacher said as 10 how it is sir please explain

@jaya Kumari ,,chromatids are just duplicated copies of a chromosome during replication. so it means after S phase the chromosomes will be 10 but chromatids will be 20 and in G1 phase there won't be any change because DNA replication haven't occured during that time.
