I LOVE grey's but I hate how in that episode they made fun of her for working in the OB unit, As if they made her less of a doctor...I want to become an OB/GYN and it was really discouraging to hear them making fun of that specialty. I still love Grey's Anatomy with all of my heart but I just wanted to point that out...

Oh gosh hahaha I've always been this way, tbh.. it's a blessing and a curse bc I truly wear my emotions on my sleeve and when I'm happy, I'm ecstatic! But when I'm sad... oh Lordie, it's badd lolol.
There is only 1 tip I have for this -- be yourself :) You don't need to be bubbly or to be serious or whatever. You just gotta embrace who you are and be true to yourself :)
So cool how you showed so much of the scrubbing in process I've never seen it like that. OBGYN seems action packed and rewarding with delivering babies.
The hospital you work at seemed so united! I love the fact that everyone knows each other and just has a good time while working. Everyone plays an important role and you showed us a glimpse of that!

This motivates me to do school work so much! I’m pretty young...I’m only 12 lol but I have wanted to be an OB/GYN since I was 5 so this is really fun to watch, also I just got a suture kit and I’m really excited!!! 😁 anyways keep up the great work and thank you for the motivation! 😙

I am a midwife. Hospital birth is not birth. Its a 52 billion dollar per year cow/calf operation where the goal is to pull babies out alive and not get sued. They do not care about women or what happens after they leave the hospital. More women need midwives and there is a strong trend toward home birth like never before.

Glad you loved your OB rotation and that everyone loved you. Four deliveries and two sections sound like a slow day, but it’s so amazing you got a taste of the life of OB. It’s so awesome. 🥰

You’re such an inspirational figure for me. I am also planning to go to med school after under grad and then obviously will have to do residency to become a doctor and you make my vision of it so much more positive and intriguing! I’m only a senior in high school and I’m stressing out over what I have to do in collage to get where I want to be, which is kind of where you are but seeing that you have made it this far makes me hopeful and determined to work hard to get there too!

in terms of undergrad, I'm in my third year now and studying for my mcat to take in April 2024! I'm planning to apply to medical schools next year! Very far from when I left that comment.
I came to the states at the age of 15, Now I'm in college and I'm very motivated to go to med school!!

I had an emergency c section & it was also my first surgery ever. I thought it was the coolest thing ever, especially the OR. I wish they would of dropped the drape so I could of watched but my husband almost passed out

hi there! is it hard for you having a dog and being a resident? Did you also have a dog during med school?
I'm in medical school and have a dog! :) It is totally doable and adds so much love to your life, we also have a good dog walker that we hire when we need to. I of course can't speak on having a dog while being a resident yet haha but that will probably be way more hectic

Praise be to God 🥳guys I am just so super happy I finally passed 🥰my NCLEX after failing 6 times but thanks to my friend who recommended me to Mr. Hudson,🙏 who provided me with audios and answers papers I thought this wasn't real not until I approach the exams, I tried Uworld, Kaplan, and many methods but failed two times but that GOD today am a proud nurse , to all those who are still struggling to clear thier NCLEX also never give up see in your self and give a try to any opportunity you got I will recommend anyone who needs the same help I got by dropping Mr. Hudson , number I wish you all goodluck.🥳🥳

But it’s so hard having no one lead me, I’m a junior at the university with no major and only a couple sciences please help me out with opinions, tips, and advice! I appreciate it

I watching this and thinking the hell my mom went through I'm the first born and My mom had a emergency section bc the nurse never filled out the form saying my moms water broke it was a student nurse who saved me. My mom said they gave her anesthesia but it didn't really work bc as soon as they gave it to her they rushed her in to the surgery room she said she felt them cutting her and I was also really big when I was born😭😭 like 9 pounds but everything went well im 13 now and my mom still had 2 more kids after I've been trying to find the student nurse every time I go to the hospital but I can't find them but im glad that they saved me bc if they didn't I wouldn't have accomplished what I have done now!😁😁
