@@mz14mohamed Hey Mohamed, ahhh thank you so much, we also miss Morocco a lot. No day was the same, every day was rich of adventure, soul and belly were always full! Sorry to hear about your Instagram, hope you sort it soon!
Glade you had great time in Essaouira and Casablanca as well. One note : as Moroccans we don bargain in all stores, for example the perfume's price is fixed as well as when you go a Hanout which is the small moroccan store, maybe Americans call them dollar stores. I personally only bargain in clothing stores that don't use price tags or traditional stores ( like the ones in marrakech) but other than that no.
The sqala restaurant is pure moroccan food like home food its 1 of the best in the whole of morrocan its pure tradition cooking than other commercial touristic restaurants also best place to visit old medina its to go to habous area and habous morocco
Thanks for watching, depends on what you enjoy! Watch the full series and you will get to see all the cities we visited and the you can decide which you like most! :)
FasihaSheikh05 For me it’s definitely Rabat- very cozy with cafes around every corner. We lived in Hassan area- close to everything- Medina, Casbah Oddaya, Marina In Sale, Hassan tower, best area of you want to walk. Also enjoyed Hay Riad area- modern and with stylish cafes
I'm pleased you explained yourself regarding the haggling for the perfume. These guys don't earn a lot so to haggle over €3 seemed petty, glad it was because you thought he wanted €30 :) I'll now go and check out Baccarat aftershave for men! PS - I'm from England and I lived in Casablanca for 5 years (I had a business there back in 2003) - this all brings back a LOT of memories :)
Casablanca is big big big and this name I heard it on the film with the same name! And there is no desert in Casablanca as the media show us or tell us!!
@@YadVenturess : in the film and media they describes Casablanca like desert etc… they got us really 😡😡😡! But with your video that I love: we will certainly come to visite and follow your step . Great caption and video quality… continue friend, we love ❤️❤️❤️ and thank you
I just left Casablanca. I travel solo so my experiences in Morocco were quite different as an American woman alone. I didn't feel unsafe, just very unwelcome and the constant staring was awful.
I don't think you will be unwelcomed .... people in Morocco are very frindly you just shouldn't just remain in your comfort zonr and ahould try to communicate with locals....as for the staring it's just how it is even for us locals sometimes, it's not really malicious but just curiosity and being nosy lol..... it's annoying but it doesn't mean anything....like I said you should just try to strike conversations and you will see what people really think of you, they actually really pike foreigners more than you might think
Morocco is safe in the way that no one will steal your money or bag but many times I felt waiters and taxi drivers tried to take advantage treating foreigners like stupid. Unfortunately as a tourist you have to deal a lot with them. But Morocco is a beautiful country indeed 👍💕I especially liked Rabat 💕
Visited Casablanca for 1 day after Marrakesh. Allowing for the big differences between the two cities I found Casablanca really disappointing. Really nothing of a cultural nature going on. I walked the city for several hours. Corniche (nice view of the ocean). The big Mosque area was closed, the Hank Lighthouse was also closed. Old Souk has little by way of local artisan crafts and textiles.
Too bad you had a bad experience. The mosque tour was excellent, at 3pm and the hammam downstairs also well worth the small price charged. We also found some great patisseries.
@@lindaroth6273 Casablanca is the economic and industrial capital of Morocco. The city center, located outside the walls of the Old Medina, is known for it's old style art nouveau French architecture - very popular with photographers. Granted, there's very little in the way of what could be considered as cultural. The principal sight seeing places are the Corniche, the Hassan II Mosque, the alleys of the ancient walled Old Medina, and the Habbous - the area of an old souk a short distance from the Old Medina. Casablanca is a place to move around or just relax, observe and soak up the ambience of the bustling city where you can see people from all over Morocco who came to work and make 'Casa' their home.
Thanks for watching the video Moha, it’s not the Middle East we know that, however, the culture is VERY similar almost the same as some of the Middle Eastern cultures, this is my personal experience after travelling to all the Middle Eastern countries in the world.
@@YadVenturessMorocco have nothing in commen with the middle eastern countries, even the Arabs who cames to our country are always surprised by our architecture, cuisine, traditional outfits, traditions....., By the way many Moroccans contributes to build and give the Moroccan touch in Emirates and some golf countries, welcome to the kingdom of Morocco

So sorry but you didn't even scratch the surface. There's so much to see in Casablanca that you didn't even touch on.
We only had 1 day of filming when this was filmed, i have another 2 videos of casa coming in the next few weeks :)
The 2 biggest mosques are the ones in Saudi Arabia, Mecca and Medina. Not the one in Abu Dhabi. That one is smaller than the one in Casablanca.
