    It was a public workout! Chrome won the race all by himself. He has the heart of a champion.
    Chrome is strong, beautiful, and talented. I love him very much, and I am looking forward to his race on Saturday, March 26. He's the horse to beat in the Dubai World cup in three weeks. Go, Chrome!!

    Hello, won't you please do an analysis of Chrome's DWC'16 win? I really enjoyed your last insight and would appreciate hearing from you again on this amazing run! Thank you!

    I really liked this analysis. Good insights. Have you seen the irish bred ( i think ) SPECIAL FIGHTER. It looked like he has epic finishing speed. And just some takeaways from this video he to switched leads super smooth and easy, while going pretty darn fast

    Considering California Chrome was the highest rated horse in the field by a street on official ratings at 121, he should've beaten Storm Belt, the second highest rated horse in the field at 105 by 2 lengths being eased down. My hunch is though that Frosted may beat Chrome like a red headed stepchild on world cup night.

    STUCK two wide??? He LOVES three wide. Usually is two or three wide. LOL Has to run faster. ?? This is a PREP race. He's merely stretching his legs. The others can keep up if they want. LOl I DO LOVE this analyse. I wish you'd do his DWC win. You'll learn more about Chrome yourself. Every jockey has a few game plans to work out.

    I believe that letting the horse cruise to the wire when they have the lead is a mistake. Run through to the end.

    Thinking about things I don't think horses should given the title of best racehorse in the world or the decade. Horses should be appreciated for what they have achieved. Regardless of sprinting miler or stayer. All in their own right are brilliant. I would love to see the whip banned. That would cause a few problems.

    California Chrome won the DWC in a much faster time in 2016...2.01.92...Smashing Prince Bishop time 2:03:24.... and no effort at all....just galloping.

    Wrong it's usually the trainer that advises the owners. What your saying is that owners have a knowledge of the racing industry more so than their trainers. Yes treve and sea the stars didn't go to America perhaps because of the allowed use of Lasix. Which can be an advantage to horses. But nine times out of a ten America horses doo not run in Europe. turf or dirt. Why. Have yet to see an American horse entered for the English derby the French arc, or any major race. As I said American racing does have a name for the use of drugs.

      @mjj1701 8 років тому

      I just don't think they have any turf horses derby/arc standard tbh

      +Horsez1701 Hi wasn't wise dan nor frankel I was talking about. I do think frankel doesn't deserve that title he was a very 8 and 10 furlong horse. think the title should go to black caviar. at least she travelled abroad. what I was saying why whether their horses are good enough or not do the americans hardly ever send horses overseas.

    • @mjj1701
      @mjj1701 8 років тому

      Barbara Dyson They do sometimes but mainly for sprint races, like Hootenanny or Undrafted. Also, you said frankel can't have the title because he's an 8 to 10 furlong horse, but black caviar was a 6 furlong horse? Just because she traveled abroad, it doesn't make her better. No horse in Americathat could have warmed frankel up except maybe wise Dan, but he only beat exelebration by a length in the bc turf...

      @barbaradyson6951 8 років тому

      +Horsez1701 I didn't say frankel can't have the title I said I didn't think he deserved it. yes black caviar was a sprinter but to win think 22 or 25 from 22 or 25 starts is some feat. Plus I believe she was 6 years old when she retired. maintaining sprinting at that age takes some doing.

    • @mjj1701
      @mjj1701 8 років тому

      Yes I does😊 However, I also wish frankel could have went on a season or more as Cecil said he wholeheartedly belived he was getting better.

    Can someone answer this question. Why do American trainers never send their horses over to Europe to race? Their is one trainer think his name is westward. Is it because they use drugs. How can American pharaoh be the best racehorse in the wold when it has never run outside America. I believe.

    • @keithlamontbraggs
      @keithlamontbraggs 8 років тому +1

      +Barbara Dyson It's not up to the trainer, It's up to the owner. America specialize in breeding dirt horses and Europe specializes in breeding turf horses. I wonder why the owner of Frankel never sent him to America to run in the Breeders Cup Mile against Wise Dan.

    • @mjj1701
      @mjj1701 8 років тому

      keithlamontbraggs Maybe because his trainer was dying and he could barely make it to York? Not trying to b rude here; but you can't compare Wise Dan to Frankel. He's was a great horse, but Frankel is recognised as the greatest racehorse of all time, on turf at least.

    • @lynellewhite3630
      @lynellewhite3630 8 років тому

      +Barbara Dyson You got it right the first time - it's the drugs. Mostly anyway...See, if you believe what some stateside trainers have to say, our horses - while still the mainstay of breeding stock throughout the world, for the next 15 minutes, anyway - are uniquely sensitive to serious pulmonary bleeding, and hence completely hopeless if they can't have their Lasix...and really, I'm hardly being sarcastic at all. I needn't be; they're so close to that....
      and I think you're thinking of Wesley Ward! Part of me will think of him as Westward from now on...

    • @lynellewhite3630
      @lynellewhite3630 8 років тому

      +Horsez1701 Certainly Frankel was the greatest MILER of all time. And I say this as an enormous Goldikova fan. However, I don't see Cecil's health as the reason they didn't make it to the Arc - a shortish trip, and one Sir Henry needn't have gone on. I think they thought he might not win. And while his show at 1 1/4 led me to think he would - i defer to Sir Henry's infinitely better judgement. And I have enough prejudice in favor of the classic distances that I'd look elsewhere for a "greatest racehorse"...

      +Lynelle White I have been thinking about this, of all the sports involving horses, racing is the only one that does not use AI. Frankel stud fee is £125,000.00 which puts him out of reach of the average owner. But if AI was available you could have had little man of wars little secretariats plus other good horses from a bygone age and it would mean that the average owner had a chance of being able to have access to better horses. plus their could be the possibility of breeding with horses who do not have a problem with bleeding. The bleeding problem is a genetic one. The sport of kings is no longer that its the sport of big money. Where the horse is second. It's probably why I enjoy uk steeplechasing where the prize money is still very small and it gives all owners a chance of winning. I can remember a little horse call lady Rebecca who was bought for £500.00 but went on to win thousands of pounds over the hurdles. Don't come back with the death scenario, that can happen at any time. I was out with my mare cantering across the field when she pulled up short, I thought her tendons had gone but she went down and I went out the front door she had had a fatal heart attack at the age of 9yrs. Also think about all the accidents every day involving cars and horses. Yes it was Wesley ward he brought over couple of horses to run at ascot, one a big two year old called acupulco think that's how you spell her name, plus she won. So if he can do it why not others. At least you and I seem to be talking about the same thing at the end of the day. The welfare of the horse.
