This is incredible. This succeeds as a song, as a technical exercise, hell, this would work as a marketing campaign. Apple should seriously pay you for having produced this.

Well, it might not be that hard, with sampling plugins inside a daw that can be controlled using midi notes that can then be quantised to the beats tempo.

Mac boot chimes were practically destined to be a remix. They're just so simple and easily tunable that you could plug in a MIDI keyboard And sneak them into any song.
We just need an Atari remix and a Linux Remix (if Linux even has startups idk) and the saga is complete.

One of the people who worked for Apple made a song using iPhone, iPod, and Mac sounds for a commercial. Kinda like UA-camr DJ Error does for Windows sounds.

This seems almost something that apple would use in the unlikely event that they built some sort of throwback machine or something themed after the 80s or 90s.

I wonder what a remix of the "Crash Chimes" would sound like.
Well, thinking of what some of the crash sounds are like, you'd probably end up having to cut parts of them up. For example, the original type of crash chime has a very sudden block c minor cord, followed by an arpegio on a major. You could clip the end of the arpegeo and the first minor cord and use those as samples. Then for the next kind of crash chime, of witch there were multiple versions, it's an f major arpegeo followed by a strange melody that has 1 note that is an acsidental in the key. For the monophonic 1 note version of that you could probably cut the long notes and use those as samples. Then, there are some others that would be sutable if cut up and used as percussion sounds. You could get each of the impacts from the one that sounds like a ton of quick hits, you could get the cymbal from the end of the big band sounding one, and you could probably find a use for the car crash and other simple crash one. You could also sample the simple beep that modern mac systems make for use as a leed voice to make a melody.

Oooh I got a suggestion, can you try your hand at Samsung's Over the Horizon theme? Though their newest phones from 2021 on use a newer theme they produced with multiple variations available; Over the horizon was essentially the closest to a well known tone for (most) Android phones.
