    Wish i knew about this years ago. Now we just rip em out and put up leds. Literally cheaper than replacing bulbs and ballast on top of electricity savings, less maintenance, better lighting physically and astetically

    The jokari allarounder is an allaround joke.. boss got me one for whatever reason, broke it on a lamp cord.. plastic thinwalled non-reinforced pressure molded crap with little itty bitty stainless blades that come in those little doohickeys that get lost the first time the damn thing accidentally opens in your toolbelt or gets knocked out cuz the things bigger than a hammer grip.. a no go booger flicker with fingernail scraper in my opinion..

      @@electricalron if you need a tester to troubleshoot lamps and ballast you are not an electrician and shouldnt be trying to fix it let me give everyone a quick tip for free 95 percent of the time it works touch the ballast if its warm it works if its cold its bad flourescent lamps when they go out have dark burnt like marks on the ends if all else fails check the voltage first then replace lamps if it still doesnt work then replace the ballast

      julio val they mainly stressed the time advantage. You have to admit it would be a lot quicker to walk under a light and touch it with that tool and know right away if the bulb is bad or not. There are thousands of these fixtures in my factory. It would be handy to walk around and just touch the bulbs see how many was bad then go back to the bin and grab all the bulbs needed and go out and replace. 100,000 sq ft building that could save a lot of time.

      I stand to correct you. maybe in home appliances. but in industrial applications they are everywhere.

      @@elmasbuscado909 that is for classical ballasts. they are talking here about electronic balasts. but yea, this is some over engineered bullshit. just take a spare ballast with you when you do your rounds.

    electricity must have a multimeter

    • @Z-Ack
      @Z-Ack 4 роки тому

      Incorrect on your comment and answer sir.. electricity must have protons or electrons would have either or both been a viable statement or self answered question. Electricity is a form of energy resulting from the existence of charged particles (such as electrons or protons), either statically as an accumulation of charge or dynamically as a current.
      A similar statement to yours would be Education needs a stupid. Or my farts smell like purple... both display an equal sense of derp.

    Don't be lazy...NEVER use battery operated tools when you don't necessarily need to. Trust me you don't want to hold back the job because your screwdriver doesn't have battery anymore. Same with crimping tools...just use hidraulics and levers . you're a fucking handy man, not an office potato.
