I absolutely love Sarah. The way she talks and laughs, I could watch her for hours.
She's the best!
I just love them all ,yes all.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
She'd be funny if it wasn't for all of her man-hating crap.
controversial opinion: i think i may prefer sandy slightly to stephen fry presenting this show.. they were big shoes to fill but she's knocked it out of the park imo :)
Sarah Millican has one of the most delightful, genuine laughs. It's like the antithesis to Jimmy Carr.
OK, I'm going to say it... The women posing under the motto for the Ladies Christian Temperance Movement probably would only attract the attention of liquor drinkers...
The photo is definitely Victorian, with stiff upright postures and stern expressions. Perhaps this is why, these days, we're encouraged to smile when we're being photographed... someone discovered how much nicer pictures were when the subjects looked relaxed and happy. Back when photography was fairly new and novel, it was treated as a substitute for having a portrait painted, hence the formal poses and expressions. However, no-one at the time either realised or understood the fundamental difference between having a photo taken and a portrait painted. The painter may not paint the sitter exactly as they are: the painter's technique will have an effect, as will their desire to give a good portrayal. a Photograph will simply capture everything, good and bad, with no adjstment.
It would have been very interesting to see how Oliver Cromwell would have reacted, had photography been around when he lived. He is famously alleged to have said, when sitting for a painting, that he wanted to be painted 'warts and all'. Would he have been so willing to have his photograph taken, knowing that's exactly what he'd get, I wonder?
They say later in the episode those were actually men dressed up as women, which is why they lok the way they do.
People look stern in old photographs for technical reasons - it was easier to maintain the facial expression for the long exposure times required. Besides, the people in that picture were men.
ftr Sandi was talking about aurochs but Daliso thought it was oryx (antelopes which are more closely related to cows than deer, as it happens)
QI got me through the Covid era and remains one of my favorite shows, though it is sometimes tricky to get in the US.
It got me through some many rough nights as well. I feel I know what you're talking about.
Ironically, it's easy to get Covid in the US where many politicians and their constituents haven't accepted "new" ideas like the germ theory of disease.
We have BritBox. I'm not sure if my husband downloaded the app or what. He uses this phone to select the older show with Stephen or the newer shows with Sandi. If you remember a time awhile back.when the show wasn't.on for a while, Sandi had gotten very sick. She had hugged a Koala bear and contracted Koala bear chlamydia. It is true. My husband read about this on his phone. Evidently, she lost the use of a lung.
She's okay now, thankfully.
The love life of Daliso Chpanda 😂
He's brilliant ❤
Auroch, not oryx.
Ah the innuendo section, I knew you would slip in the rear end.
It’s not that it’s the ‘funniest show ever’, it’s that you witness brains working, unlike most TV.
And, I fear, all American T.V., although I admit I haven't seen much. What I have seen made me wish to die - that awful Conan person, for example - but there may be exceptions. At least we must thank US T.V. for taking the creature Corden away.
And yes, I know Conan is of U.K.extraction. So ?
Yeah, it’s more interesting than straight up comedy
Sarah is such a delight, love her to bits!
14:00 What do I know about Nellie Bly?
She piped her eye.
She made out with Frankie's Johnny.
Her husband's name was "Captain". Captain and Tenellie!
Daliso’s face when Rob tells him “this is why you’re single” 🤣🤣🤣
"You're gonna have one later, and it's gonna be decent."
Not as funny as Im sorry I haven't a clue
Who else had to pause the video and Google pictures of Tom Cruise turning into Sandi?
Oh, I just realized I didn't do that! It didn't occur to me!
And I just watched it. Holy cow, they DO look alike!
That should totally be an advertising campaign:
Weetabix, you know you are going to have a poo later, and it's going to be decent.
But it would have to be Sarah Millican doing the voice-over to get the correct pronunciation of "decent".
I would love to see Daliso and Cariad together on a series of TASKMASTER. They look like they'd have so much fun!
Should I do videos of Taskmaster as well, do you think?
@@laughterlinestv If you can maintain the quality of your productions, why not? But please include these, my all-time favourite segments, if possible: Katherine Ryan's 'I changed it'; Jessica falling off of 'The Knappett'; Sally Phillips' 'Watercooler' moment; and Fern Brady's 'I'M FERN BRADY song (although Susan's 'Mice and Fish' (mischief) Task from this past season should be added to the list as well)! Thanks!
First of all, I really appreciate you liking the quality of the productions. I'm going to think about it, I have seen very little Taskmaster. I think I'll do Would I Lie To You first, while going through all series of QI. In any case, the only way the best bits don't appear is because the Copyright Gods don't allow me to post them.
@laughterlinestv WILTY is the Best! And the cream of shows to be on for comedians, too - according to Chris McCauselan on an interview w/Rob Brydon❤
6:22 That is a group of men done up in drag.
7:20 Apparently, it's width, not length that matters.
8:00 Watch the movie "Cannibal Holocaust" to see this.
15:20 I have a landline to ring my mobile when I forget where I put it.
16:25 Innuendo is the Italian word for suppository.
I'm getting no sound.
The Eland is not a kind of cow. Is is distantly related but is classified as a cow-like antelope. Sorry Sandy.
Sandi didn't say an eland was a type of cow. Sandi was clarifying that Auroch was a type of cow because Daliso misheard the word as Oryx.
Most of this came from 1 episode
Hello😂 - Inyourendo
Was not is !
By turtle does he mean tortoise?
There are both, turtles and tortoises

One has webbed feet and lives near or in water the other doesn’t.
The answer to question 1 "What can also be used to deliver mail in Tonga?" Tin Can. Hence the name Tin Can Mail.
Are you sure there's no 'bee' in the answer? 😂
Absolutely certain. The word you mention also refers to a female’s private parts in the Tongan context.
@@sionehefa3458 I was using double entendre and didn’t even know it! I’m very talented! 😀
@@sionehefa3458wasn't being serious. When he asked "are you sure there's no 'Bee' in the answer" he wasn't actually asking you a question, it was just an amusing comment to make.
"Funny"?
It's because there is so much shit on TV
There are always gems, though, right?
yes there is always more fun to be had.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It was funny once, now its really boring, ever since Fry left it
Well that isnt true
As funny as a barium enema
You should know.
I bet you're loads of fun at a party...
ha ha ha ha ha ha. Dont forget to highlight your next reply. remember how important your responses are, ha ha ha ha
@@stevedavy2878 I must apologise for my previous comment. I made an assumption but I've just realised you may well have made your comment because you really enjoy a barium enema. Sorry for jumping to the conclusion that you are normal. My bad...
@@stevedavy2878 almost as important as your medical issue.
IMHO mock the week was funnier 🥲
To each their own .
Well then this compilation isn't for you. Thanks for popping-by.
Nah, I gave up with that annoying slimy Tom Alan. on the panel....
Feel free to check out the other videos from other episodes if you want. In any case, have a great week!

Yes, I have watched some other clips...
I thought Rob Becket was brilliant on this . Pity he hasn't done another
@@sharonlock6452 They can't contact him because he hasn't got a landline.
Hmmm. It certainly seems to have lost something in the last couple of series. If these are the best / funny bits then the rest really must be quite dull compared to what it used to be.
Your misogyny is showing. Be better you little incel.
Sad, that an anecdote about a man kicking a turtle off a roof and injuring or killing it should provoke laughter or be considered for fit for inclusion.
I'll give you my opinion, of course, since I can only speak for myself. Of course having a turtle no doubt fall to its death is a terrible thing. I think people allowed themselves to laugh because it was an accident, and that made it possible for people to laugh. If it had been on purpose, no one would have laughed. Once people felt they were allowed to laugh, the way it was told is what made it funny. And in this case (again, in my opinion,) the laughter was every time about a release of tension as he discovered and we discovered, step by step, that something bad happened.
He didn't do it on purpose, that helps a lot. Also, you can cry about it but that doesn't change anything, so better to see the humour in it. I mean, it's not like people will start kicking turtles or tortoises off of roofs all of a sudden, 'because it's fun'. In short: lighten up.
You are absolutely correct! It is a heartbreaking shame that the jokes and anecdotes on this show are not run by your good self or in fact everybody else who might take offense for approval before it is put on air. I am inspired and moved that you would share your glistening moral flawlessness with us and inspire us to think very, very hard about all and everything before we even think about finding it funny - if only there were more people like you in this world, we would finally be able to stop laughing at all! Thank you very much!
@@ErnestoBrausewindYou're every bit as bad as the person your trying to chastise. Seriously, read your own long winded pompous comment. In fact, at least the original comment came from a place of caring, you just come across as a sarcastic twat.
@@fredelmo1. Saying "you can cry about it" is just a juvenile way of trying to wind up the commenter. Grow up. 2. They may or may not see the funny side but who in the hell are you to be so smug as to tell them they need to lighten up. Maybe you and the commenter need to learn to be more tolerant.
