Great lesson. I came here after watching the main double paradiddle vid on drumeo. This helped. But it’s still the first rudiment I’ve learned that’s giving me trouble
What’s said and what was written and what was played with the click are all different. It was said that it would be played as 8th note triplets; it was written as 16th note triplets and played as 16th notes. Educational material should be accurate, this isn’t.

You're a great teacher man.
Great lesson!
this helped a lot thank you
Nice my brother !!!!
I think there's a similarity between paradiddles and sequencer ratcheting. 😎🇨🇦👍
The transcription has them notated as 16th notes but your playing them as 8th notes.
Yeah, it's not very accurate! He plays them as 16th duplets after saying it'd be 8th triplets, yet it's notated at 16th triplets!
How about the lefty drummers, should they start with left too?
i believe so
Good

thanks for pointing out, I was so confused.
Why triplet, but not duplet?
What's written does not match what's being played
oof
