I'm super late to the party, but I just ran across this on AE Scripts. For so long, I've wanted a way to map sets of keyframes to markers so I could adjust them easily at once without having to keep track of a billion different keyframes and their layers in my head. I have to do a lot of stupid app demo type crap for work. I can't believe I didn't find this sooner... this will be game changing. I feel vaguely like crying, but in a good way.
Great tool! Thank you very much for developing and sharing it with us. I am currently testing how it works and am already intreagued to buy it. To get my head around how it works, I'll add some chapter marks here to be more efficient in my leanring process. Feel free to copy paste anything in your video discription to enable UA-cams chapter marks, Reuben. 😉 [ 00:00 ] Introduction to the several animations [ 01:42 ] switch (simple, 1 marker range) [ 06:10 ] check mark (more than 1 marker range) for UX setup (mock up) [ 07:55 ] automated setup mode [ 09:01 ] wind animation (complex, nested animation) [ 11:49 ] percentage animation (range mode) [ 13:54 ] using the tool for text animations [ 14:09 ] overlapping markers (avatar mock up with in and out events and the "tap marker" event in between) [ 17:44 ] summing up all the benefits [ 17:50 ] forwarding project files to clients (without worring, PlugIn not needed for others to work with your file) [ 18:03 ] bake to keyframes (without or with easing markers stored) Tipps along the way for the Marker Remap workflow [ 01:53 ] start from the inside out and identify the range of animations that you want to control (and how to do that: split time markers) [ 02:38 ] switch back to main composition and "enable retiming" [ 04:08 ] using the marker remap panel: extract markers (see the respective markers inside the pre-comp and "import" them right on the play head in the current comp) [ 04:44 ] resetting the timing to the original of the pre-comp (got to in-point of the marker, remap and cklick the respective IN-marker of the pre-comp in the menue) [ 04:52 ] set the instance of a marker to play it in reverse [ 05:33 ] reusing markers by copy & paste (for single markers or work areas) [ 06:10 ] setup with more than 1 marker range [ 06:28 ] using the "ad marker" tool (creating an array with all the respective variables in one step) [ 07:04 ] set duration (main comp, including douplicating and ofsetting the respective instances) [ 09:30 ] main comp: looping a specific section of the marker range [ 09:44 ] shifting markers (using buttons of the tool instead of shifting the whole comp) [ 10:18 ] shifting next markers (dto) [ 10:27 ] looping an animation (until it encounters another marker) [ 11:10 ] closing the loop (and reverse main animation to switch it of) [ 12:21 ] select several layers and reset timing simultaneously [ 12:29 ] setting the range mode using the range slider [ 13:14 ] map mode versus form(?) mode (variation in velocity for the timing when the respective animations are finished) [ 13:38 ] adding easing ///// May I furthermore suggest some important improvements for future tutorials in terms of didactics? Instantly everything is larger (you might even zoom in occationally) and therefore more readable. [ B ] solo the layers or even better switch to another composition you want to use as exaples. You might also want to consider to separate the chapters I identified previously and see wether you can come up with a UA-cam list that combine all tuts to the bundle. Each chapter then would have round 5 min. There might be a chance people will find and watch the videos more easily. I only saw, that some of the tutorial UA-camrs are very successful with this. All in all: there was much to learn and I will definitely consider bying your tool after the trial (theres is a deadline to hit first) 😉
Been using this for a couple of months, completely game-changer for high-timed animation. Question: Any way to have a keyboard shortcut for the "Add Marker" (not the one that add at the end, just the default Add Marker that is in the Marker Remap panel"
Awesome great to hear! Yes I do have that. Email me at reuben@reubenlara.com and and I can send it to you. Wasn’t sure if people were interested in that but happy to start including it.
Really cool! Thanks for making such an awesome for motion designers!
Thanks so much! High praise from you guys, much appreciated!

[ 00:00 ] Introduction to the several animations
[ 01:42 ] switch (simple, 1 marker range)
[ 06:10 ] check mark (more than 1 marker range) for UX setup (mock up)
[ 07:55 ] automated setup mode
[ 09:01 ] wind animation (complex, nested animation)
[ 11:49 ] percentage animation (range mode)

[ 18:03 ] bake to keyframes (without or with easing markers stored)
Tipps along the way for the Marker Remap workflow
[ 01:53 ] start from the inside out and identify the range of animations that you want to control (and how to do that: split time markers)
[ 02:38 ] switch back to main composition and "enable retiming"
[ 04:08 ] using the marker remap panel: extract markers (see the respective markers inside the pre-comp and "import" them right on the play head in the current comp)
[ 04:44 ] resetting the timing to the original of the pre-comp (got to in-point of the marker, remap and cklick the respective IN-marker of the pre-comp in the menue)
[ 04:52 ] set the instance of a marker to play it in reverse
[ 05:33 ] reusing markers by copy & paste (for single markers or work areas)
[ 06:10 ] setup with more than 1 marker range
[ 06:28 ] using the "ad marker" tool (creating an array with all the respective variables in one step)
[ 07:04 ] set duration (main comp, including douplicating and ofsetting the respective instances)
[ 09:30 ] main comp: looping a specific section of the marker range
[ 09:44 ] shifting markers (using buttons of the tool instead of shifting the whole comp)
[ 10:18 ] shifting next markers (dto)
[ 10:27 ] looping an animation (until it encounters another marker)
[ 11:10 ] closing the loop (and reverse main animation to switch it of)
[ 12:21 ] select several layers and reset timing simultaneously
[ 12:29 ] setting the range mode using the range slider
[ 13:14 ] map mode versus form(?) mode (variation in velocity for the timing when the respective animations are finished)
[ 13:38 ] adding easing

The awesomeness is really strong in this script! Thanks a lot for this :)

Wow! Very cool. Glad I found this video. Looks like an incredibly powerful tool !!
Thank you! It's become an essential part of a lot of workflows. Hope it helps you too!
Keep up the great work. You are a very good teacher
Thank you so much!
my favorite script ,it save me a ton of time!!!
Awesome! Thanks so much for the feedback!
Amazing tool!
you saved me some precious time dude! thx
Glad to hear! Thanks.
finally found the ways to reset the timing to original marker, :)) this whole time I do it manually. 4:49
how will i freeze frame with marker remap
This script is broke in 17.1.1 unless you enable legacy script engine. What are your plans if Adobe never fixes this issue on their end?
mine is not working as well . what should i do?
EDIT: Now working by enabling legacy script egine . Thanx
is it possible to animate on other videos with CSP?
yes you can import a movie into the timeline.
I cant get this to work at all, is the trial time limited?
Yes it is limited to 7 days
