That Unicron is from the comic where his servant Soundwave pulled his dark spark from the black hole and infused it with a planet which Unicron consumed all life from and then used the planets remains to build a new body for himself and this new Unicron was the result.
You mentioned "samurai Unicron" and now I really want Iron Factory to make a Unicron for their samurai inspired figures. They already have a samurai Cyclonus, and they could probably remould their Scourge and Galvatron to look more samurai-ish too.
You can peg the shell bits on his legs into tabs on the outside of his ankles to hold them slightly more into place. When I had this toy they didn't hold really well, but it was better than nothing.
Great review of Transformers United Deluxe Ark Unicron, Peaugh! I reviewed this figure a while back and it is so weird that I love it so much. I hope you can review more older figures in the future. It is fun reviewing old figures.
The official explanation for this thing’s existence is that after Unicron’s body was totally destroyed in Transformers Energon, his servants Sideways and Soundwave (the only toyline characters who have the same key as he does) retrieved his spark and used their “super technology” to revive him in a new body to continue his goals of destroying everything.
just Soundwave, after some leftover multiverse shenanigans were dealt with, the Dead Matrix was kept in a vault which Soundwave took using Laserbeak then tossed into the blackhole which released Unicron's essence however most of his power was still left in the black hole so it still threatened the multiverse but Unicron can now assimilate a new body which unfortunely was an inhabited planet known as Yst which tore itself apart, inhabitants devoured each other no matter their species or brutally killed then devoured, inhabitants devoured any edible and possibly inedible matter they can get their hands on, natural disasters happened for no reason all over and then once the last thing died Unicron emerged. after an attempt to get the minicons, Unicron fled after Primus transformed to parts unknown without as far as I know any explanation or story about where but based on how things worked till the SHroud Unicron fused with his Aligned counterpart after the Dark Spark pierced the membrane that seperated it from the rest of the multiverse... I kinda miss when transformers was this complicated
in my head, they're hive mind characters that go from planet to planet consuming the planets from the inside until the planet implodes and afterwards they return to the original unicron and deposit the energy and the process continues
Supposedly UT Bludgeon was like a grandmaster martial artist or something and was long dead by the time Cyberton was going on and seeing as how the face looks like a skull I like to think Unicron just possessed the body, but canonically you're right this is basically a small chunk of Unicron in his regeneration phase
WOW I forgot this toy existed. I've had it since it was at retail in the Cybertron line, it's sitting in a box in my attic. I loved this guy, I used to play games where this was a reborn Unicron taking over G1 Warpaths body. It was weird lol
This is the only Transformer I own (the Cybertron version), where I consistently forget how his transformation works. I think it's mostly the number of hinges under his torso combined with the fact that his alt-mode doesn't really look like anything. Sure, it's a tank, but it's not obvious exactly what that tank is supposed to look like.
You want mine? It has no accessories but I might be able to sell it to you for a discounted price. I got it back in 2013 and kept it in good condition.
Galaxy Force ended up not being as well connected to Legend of the Microns & Super Link so Transformers Cybertron doesn't feature Unicron in the flesh at all in the show
This was my alternative, instead of buying the planet version since it’s more affordable to me back then. It’s a good toy, just need to find the cyber planet key somewhere in my toy box hehehe
He never did show up in cybertron. Just was mentioned of course I have the cybertron one & I Back then from 1993 til around 2013 Always Bought 2 of each figure. The carded Unicron is On My Ceiling with a whole bunch of the Unicron trilogy figures.
I loved this era of toys and the overall look of them but I was too young to get any of them and now that they're so expensive I wish that hasbro would release some fathful versions or heck just straight up rereleases i don't care as long as I can then grab an Optimus Prime and shout "SUPER MODE" and have megatron start shooting lightning
I owned the figure but I really had only one complaint it was way to small if it was at minimum voyager scale I feel it would have made the figure perfect. Good design but to small.
The parts are loose because it is a trash Hasbro product, not because it was sitting around. They spend as little time and money on tooling as possible, evidence of this is all over the place. All sorts of toys sit around for decades that don't get looser or tighter just sitting there.

That's Cybertron Unicron, this one possessed an Autobot starship.
I never found his US counterpart at retail but I wanted to army build them as the Unicron cultists from the Marvel Comic.
I wanted one to make a custom Bludgeon
Exactly. I wondered if anyone else remembered that issue and saw that in this figure.
Yeah this figure could totally be the head cultist of a cult of Unicron, so devoted to his worship he shapes himself to look like Unicron.

Thanks for the tip!
Great review as always! I know someone mentioned he wasn't in the cartoon but he was in the Fun Pub comics.
I could've sworn you reviewed this years ago...at any rate great retro feels.
Always liked the design, but wished it were a lot bigger. Current commander class would be fun.
Its good to see something old on this channel.
I hope one day you will make a review about Cybertron Megatron and Optimus!
If I can get my hands on them!
Cybertron was my first TF show, and I've always loved the toys. Vector Prime was so cool to me.

Such an underrated figure, the Cybertron deluxe.
Underrated line tbh
Such a weird figure but its one of my favorites. Reminds me of Bludgeon.
Huge missed opportunity on FunPub’s part.
I need to try and get another one of those, loved that figure back in the day.
in my head, they're hive mind characters that go from planet to planet consuming the planets from the inside until the planet implodes and afterwards they return to the original unicron and deposit the energy and the process continues
😮

I'm trying to hunt down the cybertron version for a decent price but this video will probably make him go up even more
You want mine? It has no accessories but I might be able to sell it to you for a discounted price. I got it back in 2013 and kept it in good condition.
Dude that's exactly what I thought, I've been wanting one for years and they just keep going up
I’ve got a complete one I’m selling for $20 plus shipping in the US.
Got this figure, the United version, on sale a while back. Odd but fun
I kind of always wanted this toy or the similar prime toy
Until RID15 Bludgeon came out, he was my Bludgeon for years. I even bought a Dollar Store ninja action figure just for the sword.
Oh wow, had a unicron from the cybertron version as a kid. I didn't think I'd every see him again
Galaxy Force ended up not being as well connected to Legend of the Microns & Super Link so Transformers Cybertron doesn't feature Unicron in the flesh at all in the show
Loved this figure when I was a kid, had the US Cybertron version

He never showed up in tf cybertron
wish they made a primus remold of this!
I wish he didn't have translucent plastic for his neck area.

I bought this when I was a teenager.

Could've been perfect if they made a Botcon exclusive Skullgrin.
Fitting review for April Fool's Day...
he didn't appear in the show.
I owned the figure but I really had only one complaint it was way to small if it was at minimum voyager scale I feel it would have made the figure perfect. Good design but to small.
I’ve got a complete one (Cybertron Hasbro version) I’m selling for $20 plus shipping in the US.
In the comics he did appear like that, but DW went bankrupt after that so no further development
When Galvatron have the Omega lock in his hand he mention he was more powerfull and stronger than Primus and Unicron.
The one thing I've always disliked about this figure is how tiny it is. I think it should've been at least a large Ultra Class like TIdal Wave is.
Huh? I thought he was suppose to be 27 inches!?
This tank Unicron would work as small avatars he sends out as scouts. Making him Unicron proper is disappointing.
I STILL love unicron, as well as prime and mega bitch
He showed up in a joke episode
Looks nice, but not 80 bucks nice.

You know figures are developed by both Takara and Hasbro, right? Loose joints can happen on any figure, even Masterpieces.
@@muisverriet Because of its mass-produced state, some figures tend to be looser than others.
Most overpriced deluxe ever?
