As a man I appreciate Gojou communicating his discomfort, sometimes you really don't want to cross the line with a female friend and you would rather respect her. As a sappy romcom lover, I love that Marin actually WANTS to go there; Gojou doesn't know where the line is but it's cute that she wants to go there and there's NOTHING WRONG with that for people their age, she's being playful but she's being more careful with his feelings now, she was less careful back in episode 2 and it shows how much they've matured. It's a green flag that she asked, they're both learning how to be healthy with each other and I love it
Yeah. And the fact that she's not offended by his discomfort. Sure, she teases him a bit, but she quickly agrees that it's a lot and decides to do the cosplay when she gets home so that none of his effort is wasted.
Marin getting a serious case of cuteness aggression really turned the situation chaotic but adorable nonetheless. Juju and Shinju bonding even more as sisters over this photoshoot was beautiful to see, especially Juju complimenting her younger sister, encouraging her to cosplay more. Marin taking Wakana shopping was priceless. He tried so many styles and Marin just fell more and more in love. Big "feel good" vibes from the second half of this episode. Marin being jealous of a middle schooler is so great. Ever since this ep, I've used the term "healthy underboob" quite often with my wife lol. Also idk what it is about seeing the girl you like in your clothing that is sexy lol :s So I totally get Gojo's reaction to Marin wearing his outfit.
Honestly, Marin's not wrong - Gojo did look pretty good in all those outfits. He seems to be the kind of guy who just likes wearing very plain, comfy clothes, but if he felt more comfortable with the different styles I think they'd be able to match pretty well.
It's not that he isn't comfortable dressing up, it's that his clothes are traditional and Marin was having him try on stuff that was modern (and more western).

When complimented on the cosplay outfits, he's always coming back to stress the ways they're lacking. Compliments on his make-up skills, it's just that he read a magazine about it. It'd be maddening if it weren't so relatable. Gojou could have worn any of those outfits with the right attitude - but not when it looks like he's being led to a hanging. Poor guy was _so_ uncomfortable.
