It’s a real mental conflict that dating apps cause. Because of the abrasive nature of “yes” “no” immediate decisions, swiping right on someone you had to think about may feel like you have low standards, but then swiping left a bunch of times feels like you’re too picky. These apps have imperfect algorithms bc we’re human and swipe on people for different reasons. When I was on all those apps, I felt the same way. I’d match with people and be like ugh my standards are so low, then I’d go through time periods where I’d match with nobody and be like hmm must be because I’m picky. 😂
